Me on Aussie TV: Just Got Done w/ Aussie Film Crew on Hummus

By Debbie Schlussel

I’ve been away most of the day because of other duties and also because an Australian TV and documentary film crew was at Schlussel HQ to interview me about the (Muslim and anti-Semitic Jew v. Jew) Hummus Wars and show me at work on the site.  The film will air on Australian TV and will be released as a feature documentary film.  Will let you know when that happens.  We might even be seeing the film here in the U.S.

It’s not just humus. (I like the Sabra w/ Pine Nuts.) In Europe felafel is becoming more popular, and a chain of felafel shops is owned by ex-pat Israelis. Of course, the Arabs are livid, claiming the Israelis “stole” felafel from them, just as they insist they stole humus.

Fine things do happen Down Under!

I hope Debbie’s interview is soon released on Australian television.

Congratulations on your project and I wish you much success!

Amen, NormanF.

The only thing for me to add is that I hope that it is also shown on U.S. television as well.

Hmmm, and in your very own SE Michigan, name one Israeli themed eayery and no, Star Deli doesn’t count.

I hope you’re very famous. It is overdue for you because the world needs a strong intelligent voice of reason. Also, you’re eye candy to the masses. Keep up the good work!
