Told Ya: Thank Obama For Today’s Pali Attacks on Israel – 8 Dead 33 Wounded

By Debbie Schlussel

When Barack Obama pushed Western-allied Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak out of power and handed it over to the Muslim crazies on the streets, I told you the Camp David Peace Accords were officially a ripped up piece of paper and warned you that the new forces running Egypt would allow Palestinian Islamic terrorists to use the Sinai Peninsula (which Israel gave up for nothing!) as a base of attack from which to murder Jews and other Israelis.  And that’s exactly what happened today, as at least eight innocent Israelis were murdered in cold blood and another 33 were wounded near Eilat.  I and my late father constantly warned over the years that Camp David was a mistake because it was only valid while Sadat and his people were in power (and even then, it was shaky).  And, sadly, we were right.

obamasmiling.jpghillaryclinton.jpg

Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton Have the Blood of Today’s Attacks on Israel on Their Hands

Yes, you can thank Obama (and Hillary Clinton) for this.  They could have allowed Hosni Mubarak to defend himself and quell the rioters.  Had that happened, we’d today have a stable Egypt and a much safer Israel, as well as a pro-American leader at the helm.  Instead, we have a country run by extremist Muslims (redundant phrase) that is now hardly different from HezboLebanon, but for the fact that Sunnis dominate in Egypt and Shi’ites do in Lebanon.

Had Obama allowed Mubarak to stay in power and take care of the animals that roam his country, those eight dead would likely be alive today, and 33 others would be completely healthy and untouched.  But, as I predicted, the Sinai is now a terror base for Palestinian Islamic terrorists (and other Islamic terrorists), while it was kept relatively secure (but not always) under Mubarak.  (Ironically, one of the Palestinian terrorists who got sent to the 72 revirginized today, when Israelis “retaliated” against the planners of the attack with targeted airstrikes, is named, Imad Hamad–the same name as that of a different Palestinian terrorist who lives in our midst in Dearbornistan and who, I’m told, continued to raise money for HAMAS and HAMAS-related terrorist groups.)

Now Mubarak stands trial in a cage, and Islamic terrorists murder and maim from the Sinai.  Barack Obama is responsible.  And he sent a loud message to other leaders who ally with the U.S.:  we won’t sticky by you when you need us.  And we’ll help the most radical forces in your population attack our allies next door.

The blood of the eight dead and 33 wounded is squarely on the hands of the man taking a tony vacation in Martha’s Vineyard while America, Israel, and the West suffer.

The ghosts of Sharm El-Sheikh, who cried out when Menachem Begin gave to Muslim barbarians the land where they valiantly fought and died for Israel, are crying doubly loud today, along with the eight latest fatal victims of “Egyptian liberation” and the “Arab spring.”

The deliberate Obama policy of weakening the US as a superpower and setting Israel up for destruction is advancing. Anyone who doesn’t believe that Obama’s domestic and foreign policies are not intentional is a fool. If the GOP candidate in 2012 is Daffy Duck, vote for him and not the current Manchurian Candidate.

Tom Ward on August 18, 2011 at 4:17 pm

The problem is that the dead Israelis just don’t mean anything to some people. If they were like “everyone else” this wouldn’t be a “middle east problem” it would be what it obviously is – one side blowing up random people (as long as they are Jews) whenever they have a chance and the other side defending itself (well). It should also be obvious that if the palis laid down their weapons, there would be peace. If Israel laid down their weapons they would slaughter us.

There needs to be a complete wall (of electric fence) all around Israel then, if we really have the stones, deport all non Israelis. How to deport them? Drop non-lethat sleeping gas, collect them and transport them to Jordan.

Debbie – I honestly believe you are wasting your time writing articles like this. You are doing nothing more than preaching to the choir. Nobody else cares. I also vehemently disagree with where you are placing the blame.

We knew what kind of President Obama would be when he ran. He did not hide anything. Yet he still won, with the overwhelming majority of those who consider themselves pro Israel voting for him. The blame for what happened today does not belong with the current administration. It belongs with those who put him in power knowing what his policies were. Either they were too stupid to realizes the inevitable consequences or they did not care.

As far as I am concerned the American people forfeited the right to vote for President with their choice in 2008. The founding fathers were correct in not trusting the people to make the proper decision. Unfortunately the state legislatures have all dropped the ball by giving the people in their states the ability to vote for President. Unless this changes (and there is no way it will change) expect more Obamas.

I_AM_ME on August 18, 2011 at 4:49 pm

What then? Are we to blame the parents of Obama voters for bringing them into the world, and not grooming them correctly?
It almost seems as if your cliched philosophical waxing puts you somewhat in the same rhetorical camp as Obama. Taken at face value, Debbie’s contention here is a very good one. Save the voter ignorance issue for another show.

shegundala on August 19, 2011 at 9:41 am

I-Am: With all due respect, I believe that most of the people who voted for Obama had NO IDEA what his belief system was. They didn’t even do one iota of due diligence! I suspect they spent more time picking out their smart phones and cellular services than they did looking into this mythological being they thought they were electing. Obama was clear prior to the election that in any dispute between Muslims and anyone else, he would stand with the Muslims. So Obama throwing Israel under the bus at every opportunity, and enabling those who would destroy Israel is merely carrying out that statement. Why ANY Jews support ANY Democrats is a mystery to me, but it just goes to show that most Americans do not bother to research before they vote. They just listen to John Stewart.

The same Obama and Clinton who today are condemning these heinous attacks only a day or two back were pressing Israel to apologize to Turkey for taking the lives of those militants who attacked IDF soldiers in the Mavi Marmara flotilla incident last year. Some reports claim that the US added an “or else” – that it would be unable to garner opposition to the PA’s move for recognition in the UN if Israel refused.

On the other side, the same IDF that, perhaps due to pressure from above, was early this week working on a package of “gestures” to the PA – including, incredibly, more arms – to encourage both their “security cooperation” and a withdrawal of their recognition bid, now need to explain why they weren’t properly monitoring that border. Which, lest we forget, is their job.

Of course, given Israel’s dysfunctional system of government, Barak, Ganz and the Israel Security Agency head can’t be shown the door.

There is no accountability for stupidity in Israel.

today the ha;f meggar doesnt even comment on this attack. just a few days ago the old sow hillary for thw mongrel president ordered netanyahu to apologize to turkey for the flotilla of last year.

obama is going to give a good jobs speech in september – he sure has set the record for most speechs all which are complete bs from an incompetant leftist muslim.

Tom Ward, I’m with you on your first two sentences. And as you prolly know, lots of so-called Conservatives will NOT let themselves admit that. And just for those playing the home-version of the game, let me name two names…Michael Medfraud and Dennis Prager. Rush Limbaugh from DAY ONE has called this prevaricating fraud out on his horrible plans for America. He has been loud and clear on that topic so those who like to follow the FACTS and like their news un-PC know that. Pity everyone else has their head in the sand…even many so-called Conservatives.

And I ask, why does the Zero Administration get away with giving Syria and Libya carte blanche to be as heinous as they wanna be but put the kibosh on Egypt?

This morning I wondered if Vogue magazine and the actual writer of the Syrian regime puff-piece article in the March 2011 issue even follow what is going on in Syria? And you know they are LIBERALS so what happened to “Oooooh, I have a big heart for the plight of the lesser thans in 3rd world hell-holes?” Is it indeed more “big-hearted” to be consumed with make-up, Louboutins and Hollyweird hacks than TRUE international affairs in 2011?

I wonder what Bill Krystol, Stephen Hayes, Anderson Cooper, Dana Perino and all the other dopes would say if they were confronted with this thread? All the above thought that the “Arab Spring” was gonna be an awesome force of Liberation of Egypt. Most of the above SHOULD have known better. They DIDN’T and I wanna know if it was just PC horse-crap or because they are dumb frauds! They need to be asked pointed questions on what happened to innocent Israelis! And this is why this blog continually asks us all to use critical thinking.

Yeah, Zero should be called out on what an enemy he is to Israel. He gets away with it. Stephen Spielberg, director of “Shindler’s List” (and I believe the founder of the Shoah Foundation) can direct an incredible film like SL yet support an openly (yet cunning) anti-Israeli US President. I DON’T GET IT!!!!

Skunky on August 18, 2011 at 5:04 pm

“Stephen Spielberg, director of “Shindler’s List” (and I believe the founder of the Shoah Foundation) can direct an incredible film like SL yet support an openly (yet cunning) anti-Israeli US President. I DON’T GET IT!!!!”

Skunky, it is really quite simple. Ideological liberalism will always trump any thing else (religion, morality, what have you). This comes first and foremost above ALL things. Go off their liberal reservation and you are as good as dead to them.

As to the bombing, the first thing that went through my mind, “Looks like Obama’s muslim outreach program is working just the way he wants it to.” Sad… but true.

Pats on August 18, 2011 at 9:58 pm

Mr. Spielberg also directed Munich, written by one of the most severe Israel-haters around. This piece-of-crap movie bashed Israel for going after the murderers of their olympic team.

I doubt Barack HUSSEIN Obama (and no, I doubt he’s a muslim like his stepfather and grandparents, but ya never know :)) hates Israel THAT much – I know Hillary Clinton doesn’t, for instance. She loves Israel. I think you guys needn’t worry. God’s “Chosen people” will survive another day. 😉

Exactly how long, we’ll just have to wait and see. 😛

You’re a vile anti-semite “Motives”. You add no perspective but a vile and misguided hate of the Jews. It’s boring.

You show that you have no idea on the policies and/or backgrounds on the threads you post. You sure know sarcasm though. Sarcasm only gets you so far.

The fact that you know that Zero DOESN’T hate Israel shows you with your dirty knickers down. Anyone who HAS been paying attention to the truth CAN’T make that statement because Zero can’t exactly hide it 100%. And he doesn’t have to when just about everybody (even Conservatives) else covers for him (Yeah, I am talking about YOU “LA Times”!!).

Oh, and as a Christian, you bet your sweet bippy that the Jews are INDEED God’s chosen people. And he cared enough to NOT make YOU one! 😀

Nir Leiu on August 18, 2011 at 9:58 pm

Um, Nir, where did I say that the LA Times is Conservative???

Let me be specific since you decided to come to a conclusion I don’t think I was making.

The LIBERAL LA Times has REFUSED to release the video of a dinner that The Zeros went to that had Guest of honour Rashid Khalidi and other freaks OPENLY calling for the end of Israel. THAT’s what I’m talking about. RIF Nir!

I’d love to see that tape. I actually don’t need to, but morons like “Motives” and people who can’t read may have to. I have long accepted that Zero and his heinous wife are anti-Israel.

Skunky on August 18, 2011 at 10:13 pm

Quote:’And he doesn’t have to when just about everybody (even Conservatives) else covers for him (Yeah, I am talking about YOU “LA Times”!!).’

I think my reading is accurate, Madame Skunky. Perhaps it’s your writing that is ambiguous and very much open to interpretation.

Nir Leiu on August 19, 2011 at 3:57 am

There is no such thing as “the Chosen People”.
To view one people as superior over all others is the most bigoted and weird world-view there is. 🙂

Besides, I don’t get Christians: many of them call the Jews the chosen people, being the descendents of the ancient Israelites. Yet at the same time they say they will burn in hell along with muslims and atheists unless they learn to accept Jesus Christ BEFORE they die.

Why believe that people who do not believe in Jesus Christ as the son of God and the saviour of mankind will go to heaven, regardless of who or what they are? To me, it makes no sense.

Anyway; I am not a “vile antisemitic”. Anyone who dislikes or criticizes Israel is instantly labeled an antisemitic.
Also: the arabs are also a “semitic people” and like Hebrew, arab is a semitic language. An anti-semitic would also be someone who hates arabs, if we’d take the definition literally. 😛

And why even HAVE a second name for racism directed at jews, in the form of antisemitism? It isn’t WORSE then racism against white, black or asian people, or racism against other cultures. Why do people not understand that RACIST and ANTISEMITE are one and the same thing? If I would truly hate jews just because they are jews, that would make me a racist. But I don’t. I just don’t really give a rat’s ass about ’em. That’s something entirely different. 🙂

Motives on August 19, 2011 at 6:07 am

Give it up Nir. My mention of the “LA Times” comes AFTER I said ELSE and NOT Conservatives. DUH!!!! And why would I think the LA Times is Conservative if they held back a video during the last election PROTECTING Zero because he and Bill Ayers were saying auf wiedersehen to Rashid Khalidi? DUHHHHH!!!

“Motives”, I have not forgotten your vile anti-semitism in past threads. Nice try you vile POS! And who cares what YOU think? We know what you are.

Skunky on August 19, 2011 at 9:27 am

You know what I am? Good for you. 🙂
I know what you are: someone who hates muslims. You have that right, it’s a free world, after all.
In the eyes of Debbie and you, all muslims are like Osama bin Laden. Makes as much sense of seeing all jews as Baruch Goldstein or Madoff. 😛

I am an anti-zionist, first and foremost. Zionism and the zionist state is like a cancer to the world.
I piss on zionists and zionism. Jews do not bother me quite as much; Elie Wiesel says some wise things every once in a while, and Mr. Norman Finkelstein is another member of “the Tribe” I have absolutely nothing against. 😉

Motives on August 19, 2011 at 9:48 am

“I think you guys needn’t worry. God’s “Chosen people” will survive another day” said Motive. Motive is right. God’s chosen people will indeed survive. It is foretold in Revelation. Motive is an atheist and mocks God. Motive will be judged and punished.

    Izzys007 on August 19, 2011 at 10:50 pm

      Izzys007,

I used to believe in God. Then I lost my father, aunt and brother, my daughter and my wife.
I saw disasters taking place, people dying in earthquakes, and then I heard some lunatics yell “it was the will of God” or “they deserved it for not believing”.

Then, I lost my faith. Either all good people are God’s Children, or none are. Knowing that my friends and ancestors who do not believe would go to hell according to these people, I decided I did not want to be a part of “the herd of the Lord”.

There is a nice story about a Frisian king in the Middle Ages, Radbod. He believed in the old Germanic Gods.
When he was about to baptised, he asked to the priest:
“My ancestors, who believed in Wodan, will they be in Heaven?”
The priest, to his best knoweledge, answered:
“They are burning in hell, Sire.”
The King then decided he preferred to be with his ancestors in hell rather then be baptised and be in Heaven all by himself. He refused to be baptised.
Now that I can relate to.

There might be a God, who knows. I am just a man, and I respect a higher power. But not the one from Christianity, Judaism or Islam, nor from Hinduism or Buddhism.
Who knows, maybe I am a sinner, and maybe I will be punished for my sins. All I know is this: I won’t be the only one. 😉

Motives on August 20, 2011 at 1:52 am

Israel allowed Egypt to bring soldiers into the Sinai to bring it under control and the Egyptians killed two terrorists on their side of the border. There is no guarantee this will cooperation will remain if Egypt gets a more hostile government in the future.

For what its worth, the IDF wiped out the entire PRC terrorist leadership that planned and launched today’s attack on Israel. And today’s tragedy will lead Israel to accelerate construction of its border fence.

Ehud Barak and Israel’s military leadership deserve much of the blame by putting appeasement of the Palestinians ahead of securing Jewish lives and protecting Israel’s borders. Its always been a dangerous world.

Today’s terrorist attacks only reminded us we are entering a new era in which the threats to Israel loom larger than ever before.

What do expect from a media that wears out its kneepads servicing Obama by sweeping the latest fad of flash mob attacks of Blacks beating up Whites- now, a cultural phenomenon- under this President?

Do you really believe this guy gives a $hit about Israel? Maybe, if its citizenry were all Black. And “eff” Hillary too, for her husband signing that PC, lefty, “hate crimes” bill.

I believe in the word of YHWH Elohim, when he said he’ll destroy those who come against Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

Patrick on August 18, 2011 at 8:46 pm

Obama and Clinton definitely have those deaths on their hands, and have shown themselves over the years to be dyed-in-the-wool anti-semites and enemies of Israel.

Unfortunately they are not alone. The neoconservatives have also been completely wrong on Egypt, Libya and the rest of the Middle East.

They’ve all been wrong on Turkey as well.

I had previously wanted to see Bolton run for President based on what I thought was a superior understanding of foreign affairs, but his views of Egypt and Libya are as messed up as the rest.

During the Cold War, there was certainly opportunism on the part of the politicians who opposed Communism, but at least some of us knew who our enemy was. Now, we don’t even know that.

Debbie the Israelis claim they killed the people in Gaza who planned the attack. Is it just me or shouldn’t they have done that before the attack? I doubt anyone useful would mind if the IDF did something preemptive once in a while.

We need a man like Allen West as president. He would put the fear of God in all enemies, foreign & domestic. When (not if) we have another successful 9/11 type attack, will the people wake up and remember?

Dr Dale on August 19, 2011 at 1:01 am

The most interesting point in US foreign policy is: Mubarak did not use any sort of power against his nation, but peacefuly left the wheel and it took just about 2 weeks for US to support revolution. Now, how much time it took to support Siryan opposition and claim sanctions against Assad, who spreaded genocide?

The death toll is now up to 9 Israelis dead and the whole of Southern Israel is under rocket bombardment at the moment – 10 injured for example by rockets reaching as far north as Ashdod.

Yet, true to form, the entire Western media is totally ignoring these acts of war:

Hussein’s Cairo speech was the start of his plan. Remember this.
June 2, 2009

‘Good news for political reformers and Islamists: In an unexpected bit of diplomatic choreography, several members of the Muslim Brotherhood have been invited to attend Barack Obama’s speech in Cairo tomorrow. This is a small triumph for the many people upset that Obama’s visit would simply affirm Hosni Mubarak’s near-monopoly on political discourse here, and if reports are true that the invitation came after a push for Washington, suggests that Obama isn’t putting on a show perfectly tailored to Mubarak’s liking.’

Mubarak was slow off the mark as the backstabbing Hussein already had the knife poised for him. What was Bill Ayres doing in Egypt before the overthrowing of Mubarak? The two faced Hussein has intentionally created a monster in the ME. Who are these liberation fighters in Libya, does anybody know?
A photograph showing Hussein Obama’s white grandparents with their pre-teen daughter, Hussein’s mother, taken in Libya many moons ago was making the rounds. She apparently went to school there as a youngster. Who exactly did grandfather work for?

There are so many questions unanswered. Hussein has been worse than terrible for America and for the only democracy in the ME even worse.

It’s appropriate that we put major responsibility on the US leaders who can’t see beyond their own noses, but is there any responsibility assessed to the Israeli leaders who have no fear of Heaven and are more inclined to follow the dictates of the US and the EU than those of G-d?
Where are the Israeli Jewish leaders with yirat shamayim (who wish to protect their own people)?

Steve Katz on August 19, 2011 at 9:23 am

I believe what we are witnessing is the seismic shift from Nation States to Global Governance. Israel and all Jews become the “POSTER NATION / POSTER CHILDREN” against which the powers that be want to eradicate. Islam becomes the Global Religion, Sharia the Global Law, and a new Fiat Currency (yet to be named & printed)issuance to create Global Equality, i.e. all labor rates will be standardized via Global Unions and no Nation will be allowed to deviate or break-away. Israel is the moral, independent non-conformist in this Global equation. If Israel is destroyed, what current nation do you think will be next?

Global Socialism directed by a small cadre of elite – whose only goals are ABSOLUTE POWER, PERSONAL WEALTH, and STAR STATUS all of which to be outside of objective morality, criticism, and verifiable accountability – is the force working against Israel and all Jews.

Therefore, as goes the Israeli Nation and the Jews all over the globe, so goes all other nations and peoples.

Will we be the new “NEVILLES” or will we be the new “RAMBOES”?

Unfortunately, politics is not a subject people like to get into and of the ones I know that voted for Obama last time, one has been out of work 2 years now and swears she will never vote for him again. I just don’t know what to say anymore about the situation obama is putting us and the world in. That Muslim is totally on the side of Hamas and nobody listens. It’s sad.I don’t trust a single one. Please, nobody tell me there is such a thing as a peaceful Muslim. They’ll fool you just like obama hoodwinked his sheep!

Al McCausland on August 19, 2011 at 11:51 am

Please G-d this man will be gone in 2012. I shudder not only at all the damage he has done to date, but that he will make things infinitely worse.

Naomi R on August 19, 2011 at 12:36 pm

“Peaceful Muslims” — a contradiction in terms. Yet then-President Bush, not to mention a certain Texas Governor who wants that job (that would be Rick Perry), openly say that Islam is indeed a religion of peace. What sort of alternative is the GOP to the Democrats anyway? Very little as far as I can see.

These Jewish deaths are not only because Obama helped topple Mubarak (just like Jimmy Carter helped topple the Shah). No, these deaths are because the world knows that Obama is anti-Israel. He has made demands of Israel to give up its negotiating chips without demanding the same of the Palestinians. He was turned a blind eye to the terrorism supported by both Hamas and by Abbas, the so called moderate leader of the terrorist organization known as the PLA.

While pushing for a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital, he has refused to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. Come on people, when was there ever an Arab Palestine, and when was Jerusalem ever capital of any country other than Israel?

Obama has demanded, much like Neville Chamberlain did with Czechoslovakia, that Israel give up the mountainous areas from which terrorists can more successfully aim their missiles at Israeli cities.

He held an anti-nuke summit, supposedly to pressure Iran to give up its nuclear program, yet when it reached the UN, the resolution only demanded Israel give up its supposed nuclear weapons, and the U.S. voted in support of the resolution.

Obama has demanded that Israel not build on land bought by Jews with Jewish money, from Arab owners (Har Homa mountain, for instance).

He has talked about Palestinian refugees, as if Israel should let the Arabs flood their country, but not once has this gay Urkel ever addressed the over 1,000,000 Jews who were kicked out of the Arab countries from 1947-2011 (Yemenite Jews were just thrown out under threat of death from a country they have lived in for thousands of years). Not once has he addressed the historical nature of Jewish Israel, while demanding a completely fictitious country called Arab Palestine.

Not once has he demanded that Arabs stop teaching in public schools that Muslims must kill the Jews, that Jews are money hungry userers, etc. Not once has he addressed the propaganda machine that the Arabs fund to promote anti-Semitism, particularly here in the US (why do you think the villains in movies and television are often Jews, instead of Arabs)?

Not once has Obama addressed the slavery of filipinas and blacks in Saudi Arabia.

Not once has religious and sexual freedom in Arab countries been addressed by Obama. Our troops at the cost of tens of billions of dollars a year, are guarding Saudi Arabia, the UAE, etc., yet they are not permitted freedom of worship.

Obama is an enemy of Israel, the Jews, and yes, Christians, because he holds Christians in almost as low regard as Jews. Does anyone remember his comment about people holding on to their guns and religion? He addressed that to Christians, not Muslims.

Jonathan E. Grant on August 19, 2011 at 1:03 pm

I think Israel is too gentle on Arab barbarians. Shielding their women and children from the full horrors of war is not going to endear them to Israel. They already hate Jews plenty enough.

My position is Israel should go after them without restraint and not showing them mercy. That would save a lot of lives.

And it helps to remember that peace is impossible with those who murder Jewish children in cold blood.

No dialogue on earth can be conducted with child killers. That should be obvious.

Its time Israel stopped being more Christian than the Christian World!

Just a few comments…

1. MOTIVES: From what you have written, I understand you – per your words – “But I don’t. I just don’t really give a rat’s ass about ‘em.”. OK, that’s really “deep” and like stepping in “cuttah” (sic???)…so why waste your time with submitting comments? Oh, BTW, please note that “IT’S” is a contraction of “IT IS”. “ITS” is a possessive.

2. Debbie, would you please consider having your website people apply the “THUMB UP vs THUMB DOWN” option for rating Comments?

3. Hello Sean! Hope all is well. Also, I hope you do not let the “MOTIVES” of the world get you down. BTW…do you think MOTIVES’S Comments were written by one person or was it a “CLUSTER”? I’d bet on “CLUSTER”. ps: Read Brad Thor’s FULL BLACK. There are a number of “MOTIVES” for doing so.

Dennis on August 19, 2011 at 1:13 pm

    Dennis,

First of all, excuse me: English is not my first language so obviously I’ll make mistakes when it comes to grammar or spelling. I think that despite this, I have made my point clear enough – I am no big fan of Zionism.

I am no friend of the Jewish people, it is true. But I am not a friend of the Muslims or Christians per se, either.
Religious wars are fought over “who has the coolest imaginairy friend”. 😛

It is a tragedy when a Palestinian or Israeli child has to die because of words penned down thousends of years ago.
Before you people rip on Islam all the time, Judaism isn’t “all that kosher” either. I still remember very well the rabbib Perin who said after Goldstein’s terrorist attack that “One million Arabs are not worth a Jewish fingernail”… Tell me: is that not extremism aswell? And wasn’t Yigal Amir, the terrorist who killed Mr. Rabin, a jew aswell?

Mr. Rabin: now THAT was an Israeli I could agree with! May God have his soul.

    On a side note:
A “religion of peace” does not excist. It is not Islam, it is not Christiniaty and certainly not Judaism. People can be peaceful, sur. Individual people can be very, very nice. But a religious extremist is not a man of peace to begin with – religious books are full with bloodshed from the beginning to the end. How many people are killed troughout the Bible because they “do not worship the One God” or because they happen to live in the wrong area? It’s madness.

Motives on August 19, 2011 at 1:29 pm

Motives, I had a similar discussion years ago with a Canadian friend who asked me if I thought that RELIGION was the cause of all wars? My response was that RELIGION was the excuse used by those in power, i.e. kings, Popes, dictators, politicians, and others for going to war.

The comment you cited and attributed to Rabbi Perin was HYPERBOLE, i.e. extreme exaggeration used to make a point. Do you really think he or most Jews would commit genocide as the NAZIS and their pals tried to do? The Biblical references in your last paragraph, even if absolutely true, would have had to happen, what, 2-3-4-5 or more thousands of years ago.

I believe Jews, as a people, have endured – disproportionate to their numbers – more violence and hatred than most other peoples. Why is that? One excuse used during Chrystal Nacht was the screaming that “The Jews killed Christ!” Well, if you believe Christ was Son of G*d, then he already knew of his death!!! Can’t Jews live in peace in that smidgeon of land or is that too much to ask? And, didn’t Jews live in relative peace with many different peoples and in different countries for centuries?

I am not a religious person, but I can see how something like the TEN COMMANDMENTS present a reasonable guideline to interacting with others and controlling the baser activities within which one may seek to engage. That, per my readings, can be said of most religions, but I will be damned if I allow anyone to harm me because their religious philosophy says I am inferior and subject to that philosophy. My recommendation is that everyone quits arguing about religion and recognizes each person’s unalienable rights as a sovereign individual.

However, if PUSH-COMES-TO-SHOVE and all hell breaks loose, well, I STAND WITH THE JEWS on a purely OBJECTIVIST basis.

      Sorry…gotta go.

Dennis on August 19, 2011 at 2:16 pm

“Do you really think he or most Jews would commit genocide as the NAZIS and their pals tried to do?”

-No, I do not believe MOST JEWS would. Neither would MOST MUSLIMS. Some of them would, though. But no groups is without extremists. They are the cancer of religion.

“I believe Jews, as a people, have endured – disproportionate to their numbers – more violence and hatred than most other peoples.”

-Sure. So have the Native Americans and the Roma and Sinti people of Eastern Europe. Neither of these people have received any compensation let alone a land for their own. Why? They do not have a powerful lobby, they lack financial means and do not hold much power.

“One excuse used during Chrystal Nacht was the screaming that “The Jews killed Christ!””

-Jesus Christ was a jew himself. By all accounts, he was a short, dark-skinned man, very Middle-Eastern in appearance (not the tall, blonde, blue-eyed hippie figure we see in Biblical illustrations :)). Besides that: I think it is absolutely ridiculous to blame an entire people for the actions of their ancestors two thousend years ago. Although I saw a Jewish man on television once whose worst insult to an opponent in a debate was “You are worse then a German”. 😀 Made me laugh my ass off. Like the Germans of today are guilty of their grandparent’s actions in the war. With the Jesus killing issue it’s the same. Jesus knew he would be betrayed!

“Can’t Jews live in peace in that smidgeon of land or is that too much to ask?”

-Of course they can live in peace! I can say the same thing for the Palestinians, though. I see no need for a “Jewish homeland” , nor do I see need for a “Muslim homeland” or a “Christian homeland”, for that matter. The Holy Land is Holy to all three Monotheistic religions. I do not believe the Jews deserve it any more then the Muslims or the Christians do.

“And, didn’t Jews live in relative peace with many different peoples and in different countries for centuries?”

-Sure they did. But they acquired the “Land of Israel” because Moses, an old Egyptian who heard voices inside his head, was told they should go there. The people who lived in the area where eiter driven out or exterminated in wars, won by support of “the Hand of God”. That’s a pretty bad start, if you ask me.

“However, if PUSH-COMES-TO-SHOVE and all hell breaks loose, well, I STAND WITH THE JEWS on a purely OBJECTIVIST basis.”

-Good for you. I stand with the Palestinians. Why? Because if you ask me, they are the underdog. They cannot count on the support of powerful allies. They are weak, poor and devided. But Israel can always LOOSE allies, and Palestine can gain them. I cannot predict the future – but I wonder what the Christians and Jews will say if the “Chosen People” are defeated and driven out, the way the Palestinians where driven out in ’48. Something like “The Lord works in mysterious ways” or “God’s plan” or something like that. 😛

Motives on August 19, 2011 at 2:48 pm

With all due respect ‘Motives’, a correction to your notion of ‘God’s Chosen people’ which you bandy about with degrogatory disapprobation should be clarified.

At the beginning of time when God put forward the manifesto, the Jews had a choice of accepting it or walking away. Therefore the Jews chose God. The operation’s manual, the Ten Commandments, the format for living a good life, was formalised. If the Jews hadn’t chosen God, you would to-day be venting forth about another group of people which you will brand ‘God’s Chosen people’.

          You will be well served to read Dennis Prager’s article;
AUGUST 16, 2011 Still the Only Solution to the World’s Problems. The Decalogue is as relevant today as it was 3,000 years ago. There is only one solution to the world’s problems, only one prescription for producing a near-heaven on earth.
It is 3,000 years old. And it is known as the Ten Commandments.
Properly understood and applied, the Ten Commandments are really all humanity needs to make a beautiful world. While modern men and women, in their hubris, believe that they can and must come up with new ideas in order to make a good world, the truth is there is almost nothing new to say.

‘Motives’ a sage once gave me some good advice which I’m passing on to you. ‘It’s better to lose an argument with a wise man, than win with a fool’.

Eyes Wide Open on August 19, 2011 at 8:33 pm

Motives on August 20, 2011 at 1:39 am

    The “filthy Palestinians”?
The blood flowing trough the veins of the Palestinian and Arab people is the same blood as flows trough the veins of the Israeli people. Many Israeli people came to Israel from the arab world – physically they are the same as the other people of the region.

If the Palestinians are “filthy”, Skunky, then so are the Palestinians. You say they are supported by 1.2 billion people? I don’t think so. Hezbollah, Iran, Hamas, that’s about it. Hardly 1.2 billion people.

Motives on August 20, 2011 at 2:00 am

Motive,

You are one stupid M-fer. Moses was not an Egyptian. He was a Hebrew.

There has never, ever been a “Palestinian” people other than the Jews. The land of Israel, including Judea and Samaria, was purchased from the governments and private landowners who sold the land to the Jews. Other Jews had lived there for thousands of years, yet they were driven from THEIR homes in 1929 and 1967.

Where are you objections to the 54 Islamic countries? What? Nothing from your tiny little brain? Ah, only Jews can’t have a homeland. Incidentally, moron (and I hope that you don’t mind me calling you what you are), over 1,000,000 Jews were driven from the Arab countries from 1948-present. They ended up in Israel. Seems like wars took place, and there was an exchange of populations, although the Arabs were never kicked out by the Jews.

As far the Palestinians being underdogs, they are backed not merely by the typical anti-Semitic pieces of garbage like you and probably your whorish family, but by a few hundred million Arabs, 1.3 billion Muslims, and other assorted phlegm with two legs. There are only 14 million Jews in the entire world.

And as far as the Germans today, they are still thriving off the $170 BILLION dollars of property they stole from the Jews, they still have not compensated those who were slaves for the Nazis, they still refuse to try the most murderous scum that still live in Germany, and the pensions of the “former” SS soldiers run into thousands of marks each month for each SS soldier.

In closing, you are either the biggest moron on the face of the earth, or one grade A Anti-Semite. I opt for the third choice, which is that you are both, but before you do, give back the land you are living on to the American Indians.

Jonathan E. Grant on August 19, 2011 at 7:54 pm

Jon, let America retreat to the 1776 borders and then it can Israel to retreat to the 1948 borders.

Why the hypocrisy and the double standard? Practice what you preach to others!

NormanF on August 19, 2011 at 8:39 pm

Adopted and raised by Egyptians. That makes him an Egyptian in my book. Or is a African kid adopted by an American family still African and not American? 🙂

Thank you for calling me a moron: right back at ya. 😀

The Germans are thriving? Sure. But what should they do with that 170 billion dollar, they cannot pay back the dead. Neither can the grandchildren of former nazi’s be held responsible for their grandparent’s actions. That’s the same argument as blaming the joos for killing Jesus.
Germany is a big friend of Israel – every attack Israel commits, German government agrees with, they do not condemn Israel the way other European countries do and send plenty of aid. I assume this is out of a misplaced sense of guilt over the Holocoast. Misplaced, because you are NOT responsible for what you ancestors did. I do not feel guilty at all that my grandfather served in the SS and deported jews – I am not responsible for that, am I? 🙂

“In closing, you are either the biggest moron on the face of the earth, or one grade A Anti-Semite. I opt for the third choice, which is that you are both, but before you do, give back the land you are living on to the American Indians.”

Thank you very much, Mr. Grant. Such a friendly man you are! Is that the worst thing you can call me, an antisemite? A wise woman named Gretta Duisenberg once said “Anti semite is almost like an honorary title these days – I wear it with pride”.
Also, I do not live on land beloning to the American Indians, as I am not living on the American Continent at all. I live in a land which has belonged to the same people for thousends of years. I’m going to agree with Dennies from 1:13 pm this afternoon in his comment. I to think that DS (she’s the main moderator of this blog) should put a “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” in the comment section on this website, another thing, I also think that she has to probably change the format a little in the comment section. I mean that we have to sign in/log into a section that you have type in our screen name and have a password to come into the comment section on this blog.

The reason why I say that is because at times us the regulars see some of these anti-DS trolls making asses of themselves, by assinate, slander, and defame Debbie’s reputation with libelous rhetoric and also doing the typical ad hominiem attacks against her and us the readers. If she does something like that to the comment section on this website, we’ll see less anti-DS trolls lurking on this blog.

And BTW, I would like for Debbie to do this with each thread on this site, when every thread is “30 days” old, turn off the comment section (some blogs/websites do that, if a thread is 30 days old, the comment section is turned off). And also, if a thread is getting over 100 comments (even if that thread is less than 30 days old), turn off the comment section. Those are my advise for Debbie, and I hope she thinks about what I wrote in this message!

“A nation is defined by its borders, language & culture!”

Sean R. on August 19, 2011 at 8:24 pm

Debbie does comment if someone makes a stupid or flagrantly racist or anti-Semitic remark. You’re right its her blog and comments are allowed on it, within respectable bounds. There will be those who abuse their posting privileges after they have been contacted by her and if they keep doing it, that can be revoked. As for trolls, we’ve seen them before and I have observed in the past, they add nothing new to an already on-going discussion!

NormanF on August 19, 2011 at 8:43 pm

I’m wondering who our rulers think will run Syria if Assad goes. I don’t think anybody’s steering this ship.

John Harper on August 20, 2011 at 10:44 am

JH, first rule of management, have a strong captain to steer the ship thro’ choppy waters. We’re witnessing a rudderless USA foreign policy as the Arab Spring descends into chaos. Addditonal overdue sanctions have been slapped on Syria, but a known fact is that Syria is a puppet govt. proxied to Iran. Hezbollah/Hamas also ruled by proxy.

Iran’s long term plan, Ruler of the Persian Gulf with proxy states, majority Shiites(including Iraq), who will then form the crescent around Israel.

Hussein Obama’s deliberate turning of the other cheek to Iran should be questioned. Even when opposition politicians & voters were being slaughtered, ‘no action’….

Mr I’m-a-dinner jacket’s’ Hitleresque’s foul mouthing which he extends to the UN platform and still ‘no action’…

The Suez Canal is strategic to the USA/Europe. If this goes, then what? The USA should withdraw from the UN. America’s contribution is 22%, majority of members are countries with no Human Rights. USA taxpayers should be concerned about the amount given to Yemen $1 Billion, Hezbollah $450 Million, $950 Million to Gaza, USA military equipment/training/Dollars to Fatah, Billions to Egypt, Millions to Jordan, not forgetting Billions to Pakistan.

The dithering foreign policy has opened the flood gates for a tsunami of ME migrants to the USA/Europe, which Gaddafi warned about. Welfare systems cannot sustain masses from overpopulated destinations. Capitalists now indebeted to the Communist govt. whilst vacations take priority with the polystrene backboned WH incumbent. USA was promised CHANGE, exactly what you’re getting ‘coins’ very small change together with the galvanising, patriotic call to action,’Eat your peas’….

However, I’m hoping a poster will answer the first part of your question because I too am curious.

Eyes Wide Open on August 20, 2011 at 9:01 pm

And I must concur. JH does ask a very important question. I’d love to hear an answer from someone who knows (and is NOT an anti-semite or Liberal loon).

Skunky on August 20, 2011 at 10:02 pm

Skunky & Jeff : With reference to Motives, Gretta Duisenberg. On 22/07/2003 a European publication titled ‘Time to pull the plug on Gretta’.

‘Duisenberg’s remarks are at best Jew baiting and at worst an attempt to morally equivocate an Israeli occupation policy (albeit a very flawed policy) designed to stop suicide bombings, with Nazi terror.

But anyone familiar with Duisenberg should not worry too much about her antics. Her well choreographed and her widely filmed visit was featured on Belgian television Friday night.

There we see Gretta, complete in black dress and Jackie Onasis sunglasses, visiting Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat. Here’s Gretta patting a distraught mother on the shoulder, driving in her chauffeur-driven Mercedes muttering vreselijk, vreselijk (terrible, terrible) at the destruction, between meetings.

Ironically, her poor command of English led to another, unintentional, howler. Standing beside a beaming Arafat, Duisenberg enthusiastically told the world media that the Palestinian leader “does everything to provide the suicide bombers”.

Apparently, she meant to say he does everything to “prevent” suicide bombings. At another point, seeing a bullet-hole in the car behind her, Duisenberg jumped out and ordered her translator to find the cause from the driver. “Ask him, ask him,” she shouted, as if ordering a distracted servant to mind the silverware. Once the explanation was proffered, it was back in the car and on to the next appointment.

One thing was perfectly clear: this is not really about the Palestinians; it is all about Gretta Duisenberg. This was her crowning moment, a grand tour of her impoverished subjects by their dark queen.

The highlight was the photo-op with Arafat himself, suitable for framing. She comes across not just as a bored housewife but as a spoilt woman of privilege whose attempts at recreating priceless Diana moments inevitably look more like a carriage tour by Marie Antoinette.

That notwithstanding, the fact remains that Duisenberg is travelling around on a diplomatic passport. True, she holds it by virtue of her husband’s job, but that does not negate the reality that a holder of a diplomatic passport is an emissary – intended or not – of the issuing country.

Thus the Dutch government, through no fault of its own, finds itself the accidental dispatcher of Gretta and her embarrassing trek.’

Reminds me of the adage ‘what’s on the top of the head, is on the tip of the tongue’. Gretta Duisenberg’s howler was a Freudian slip of major proportions.

Eyes Wide Open on August 20, 2011 at 11:40 pm

Eyes, that was another great post. I especially loved the adage. It seems to me that for one to be a fan and sympathizer of the PLO, one has to be barking mad, angry with life or just monsterously stupid. And/or sometimes all three!

What’s with the Dutch finding it so easy to be anti-semitic. Isn’t Lars von Trier also Dutch? I’m really not a fan of Nations like Norway, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, Denmark and Iceland. They’re all backwards to me.

Skunky on August 21, 2011 at 12:03 pm

Skunky: Lars von Tier is a Danish film producer but of German ancestry. Cannes Film Festival/ May 2011, he showed his true Nazi colours and couldn’t undo the damage. A little about the man from a reporter

‘Von Trier is ill at ease around the press in the best of circumstances. He has all the social grace of a pudgy 14-year-old with an autism-spectrum disorder, and has a juvenile obscenity tattooed across his knuckles, “Night of the Hunter”-style. But during the press conference he had warmed up from monosyllabic utterances to longer, more rambling answers, especially once it became clear that the response to his film was largely positive.’ By this time he had shot himself in the foot.

The Scandinavian countries you name were part of the ‘Nazi Quisling Collaborators’. Geert Wilders from Holland, is doing a fine job trying to retain Judeo-Christian culture and his perserverence is gaining ground. Positive results from the last election. Finland has shown consideration towards its Jewish community. Of course Skunky, there were good people who helped the Jews and the stories are still being uncovered. We must never forget them and their sacrifices.

In conclusion, the lid comes off the character when people are ‘puffed up’ from alcohol/drugs and the real self is revealed. The Litmus test reveals top grade anti-Semites John Galliano and Mel Gibson. Consider that the mega-rotten Hitler, never imbibed…..

[“Ironically, her poor command of English led to another, unintentional, howler. Standing beside a beaming Arafat, Duisenberg enthusiastically told the world media that the Palestinian leader ‘does everything to provide the suicide bombers’.

Apparently, she meant to say he does everything to ‘prevent’ suicide bombings.”]

Here she actually said something truthful–albeit unintentionally. Arafat had indeed done everything to provide the suicide (although I prefer the term “genocide”) bombers.

Thank you for reporting this, Debbie. I agree with both what you said and those other posts that agree with what you wrote.

Prepping for the UN legalization of a Genocide entity on Israel’s 9 mile wide (at one point) land mass.

For those who are unaware, one Norway Cabinet Minister and too numerous to count, European Parliament reichfuhrerists favor use of force against Israel. Exactly what would be the lifespan of a Communist Atheist in a muhammadanazi state?

Would the last White European to leave, please turn out the lights.
