VIDEO: Hmmm . . . Wonder Why He Cheated, Divorced Her

By Debbie Schlussel

As longtime readers know, I happily do not subscribe to cable TV.  Therefore, I miss out on such reality TV gems as “The Real World, Season #4572” (starring a transsexual vegan formerly named Ahmed), the show about the Kardashian wedding to some mindless NBA star whose testicles were checked at the door, and the series about some guy catching catfish with his arm.  I also missed out on “Jon & Kate Plus 8” and just “Kate Plus 8.”  So sad I never got to waste hours of my life watching someone’s multiple kids I don’t care about do things I couldn’t care less about.  Sadly, the announcement that the “Plus 8” show is canceled only means that yet another mindless time-wasting staged “reality” piece of crap will take its place.  Still, watching this entertaining 24-second compilation from “Jimmy Kimmel Live” tells me everything I never needed to know about this show, why the guy (her husband, Jon, as depicted in the video) cheated on this Kate beast, and why they are now divorced.  Can you blame him? Glad to say “Buh-bye” to this show.

This one I wish would run off to “Palestine” with “Abdullah Psycho” to be his 2nd stupid American “wife”.

I don’t watch crap like that either though other premium cable channels have terrific shows. I really feel for their eight children though. Having dysfunctional, egotistical parents could cause alot of damage. One of their 7 year olds got expelled from school and are probably embarassed about their parents.

Debbie Schlussel, I am so glad that you’re talking about topics like this instead of the primaries and next years election. If any of us want to talk about the primaries and the 2012 election than we can go onto the shill-hack websites on both the left and the right and it’s way too early for the 2012 election.

As far as this topic is concerned, the only reality show I watch is the Dugger family show/19 Kids And Counting. That reality show very family oriented, family friendly instead of being hostile towards the nuclear family. BTW, I believe that Sarah Palin canceled her reality show earlier this year, I read that story another website that Palin postponed her show for other of her own interest!

Bravo again! I love when you hit the nail on the head with horrible pap like this.

And yes, Beast is so right. This nasty shrew is such a viper. I also don’t have cable and I do catch TV when working once in a while but that little montage is exactly what I have seen her do over and over again. And I’m not a Ltfetime TV fan so I never watched her shows.

If these two dopes listened to nature (and in my belief, a higher power) they would have NEVER been parents. But no. In insane USA, jackholes like this feel they must have bio-kids and end up having litters like dogs and cats thanks to IVF. I hate IVF!

As with the men (Charlie Sheen, George Clooney) ANY guy who would wanna “tap that” (the kids alone should be keep ’em away) has to have his brain examined because THAT is the inevitable ending. You’ll get what you deserve. Rumour likes to say that she is “kicking it” with her Kiwi bodyguard…who is married. Nice!

This beast writes books too. Who would buy them? I can’t stand this witch and am not dumb enough that I can learn ANYTHING from her. She’s a very good example of a bad example.

Off with her head!

Because this clip cuts off Kimmel’s intro and outro, I must confess that I don’t even know what it is I just witnessed.

I: Did you read the post? It explains exactly what this is. DS

I gave up TV for my third advanced degree.

I am half way to my second Masters this time studying Information Assurance and Security. Yes, I bust hackers now 🙂

I change careers every 20 years (Lawyer, Teacher, and now IT Security Officer).

My understanding is that everyone who works with Kate thinks she’s a bitch. Also, she kind of recognizes that there is no way any sane male is going to touch this.

Well gee cable companies…satilite companies….do you folks wonder why people like me and debbie and others don’t want your services anymore?

BECAUSE THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY PRODUCES CRAP such as so-called reality shows and other mindless, not interesting, boring, predictable, non-entertaining, un-orignal garbage that makes up 80% of today’s television.

Why should I waste money on a service that I’ll hardly use with crap like this on TV, when I can use the internet and watch stuff that IS entertaining, IS orignal, IS creative, and IS nothing like a reality show or some me-too family guy.

What a horrible Alpha-Cow.
‘Guess she missed the adage that says a wife must never order around her husband like he’s her oldest son.

Oh come on, Deb…You think this Jon clown is a prize? I don’t believe people date or marry ‘down’. And when and if we slip up, and wind up with a clunker–we run. We get the hell out there fast; and if we don’t, we may well be more in the league with that “mistake” then we want to admit to ourselves…Love ya, baby. …Just had a play published in the UK, by the very publisher I went after. I’m pretty jazzed…Hope you’re well.

I never saw the show. I’m not sad.

After watching the clip, however, I think I finally see the appeal. It’s a trainwreck. People watch trainwrecks so they can feel glad it’s not them in that mess.

Plus, if there’s no actual death or horrible injury involved, people like to point and laugh.

That said, I still wouldn’t watch it.

I like some cable. Never watched that show. It’s a wonder they didn’t end with a murder documentary.

With cable, you pay for the shows you get to see. If people are that mindless to pay to see cultural garbage, the cable companies are only producing with that they want. Consumer self policing is what is called for here.

Men’s egos can easily be damaged. Smart women realize this. She did everything in her power to push her husband away. She succeeded, no surprise. For his sake I hope his present wife is more in line with his station in life and they’re both much happier.

burt on August 20, 2011 at 9:16 am

burt, I really couldn’t care less whether he, she, or whoever is happy or not. I don’t know them, don’t care.

I’ll never understand the obsession with reality shows. I have barely enough time to manage my own life, defnitely not enough time to worry about people’s lives I couldn’t care less about.

You aren’t missing anything, Debbie.

I only subscribe so that I can blitz my local media with cultural critiques of the latest TV dung. I do enjoy the occasional docudrama and documentary. Nothing else.
