Al-Coward: Jihadist Who Killed American Soldiers Not So Martyresque After All
Yesterday, American Muslim Abdulhakim Muhammad was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole (technically, he got 12 life sentences, plus 180 years) for his jihadist shooting of two American soldiers–Army Pvt. William Andrew Long, who was murdered, and Pvt. Quinton Ezeagwula, who was wounded–at an Arkansas military recruiting center. This happened only after Muhammad pleaded guilty.

Muhammad faced the death penalty, and he should have gotten it. He deserves to die an early death, like Private Long, whom he ambushed and murdered for no legitimate reason. But Muhammad and his lawyers fought against being tried in Arkansas State Court, where the death penalty might have been meted out. He repeatedly wanted to be tried in federal court to avoid becoming an actual martyr for allah. But he and his lawyers were smart. Despite losing their battle to avoid the Arkansas courts, Muhammad pleaded guilty, which Arkansas law doesn’t allow in death penalty cases. The prosecutors had no choice but to drop their pursuit of the death penalty, so that the guilty plea could take place. Time for Arkansas legislators to tighten this loophole.
In any event, the situation shows that these jihadists aren’t so brave after all. When it comes down to it, they aren’t as dedicated to giving their own lives for allah and jihad as they are taking our lives for it. As one reader noted:
This is really quite extraordinary. A self-confessed Islamic terrorist (the Arkansas recruiting-station murderer) insists that he should be tried in federal court, not state court, where he’ll likely receive the death penalty. In federal court, he knows he’ll get life, if that. What kind of self-respecting Islamo-murderer doesn’t want to die for his cause? What do you want to bet that that’s the tactic his lawyer uses to get the jurisdiction transferred. Incredible story. Really, the world has gone utterly mad. With each morning, I look in the rearview mirror and see that our best days are further and further behind, and on some mornings it seems that we’ve been traveling at light speed since the day before.
Sadly, the reader is spot on. After the sentencing, Ezeagwula’s mother told Muhammad,
I want you to feel the bullet in his head.
If only. Muhammad deserved to die. But he won’t because of cockamamie legal maneuvers against our legal system by cowardly jihadists from within.
And, as you’ll recall, Muhammad’s father, Melvin Bledsoe, said that Islam made his son a killer and that the FBI overlooked it because, hey, it’s Islam, and we can’t touch that. So, have we done anything about that? Has the FBI changed? Hell, no. The guy who was the Director of the Forever Buttkissing Islam FBI–the same man on whose watch 9/11 and the Fort Hood massacre occurred–has just been rewarded by the Democrats and Republicans in the U.S. Senate, with another two years at the helm. And, thus, Robert Mueller’s absurd Muslim outreach mission continues.
How many more Americans will die because of it?
Liberals know how to do three things well:
1.) Blame everyone but the culprit. Remember what happened in Tucson, where the left blamed everyone but Jared Loughner?
2.) Fail to follow their own advice about not jumping to conclusions, especially when those same leftists whined about not jumping to conclusions shortly after Fort Hood while blaming the Tea Party for Tucson and smearing the Duke lacrosse team for that bogus “rape.”
3.) Ignore or never mention Islam if a culprit is Muslim, like Carlos Bledsoe or Nidal Hasan.
