Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi: Hey, Another Would Be Nigerian Islamic Terrorist . . . w/ U-Michigan ID!

By Debbie Schlussel

So, Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi, a man from UndieBomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab’s native land, Nigeria, gets on more than one flight within the U.S. with an expired boarding pass in someone else’s name and a University of Michigan ID, which was stolen.  allahu Go Blue Kaboom!  Oh, and he also used a phony police report saying his real ID had been stolen.  And when the FBI arrests him, he has multiple other boarding passes in other people’s names.  Why wasn’t he stopped before–or at least, after–the first time?  And, uh, sorry, this guy was clearly up to no good.  Testing the system, doing a dry run, whatever.  He didn’t have a passport, but had multiple stolen, expired boarding passes, ID, and a fake police report “by accident” or because he has “mental problems.”  He was doing something designed to ultimately kill Americans on planes.  That’s clear to anyone but a moron. What isn’t clear is who this guy is and how he got to America? Who issued the visa, if he had one? What was in his luggage, if he had any? Hey, guess the religion . . .

Is Olajide Noibi Another UndieBomber, Like Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab?

Olajide Oluwaseun Noibi, a Nigerian-born man who was found with the stolen ID and up to 10 old boarding passes containing various names, was arrested Wednesday after attempting to board a flight from Los Angeles to Atlanta; five days after passing through layers of airport security at New York’s JFK airport to board a plane with a day-old boarding pass.

Noibi was charged with being a stowaway aboard an aircraft, according to FBI Special Agent Kevin R. Hogg. He is being held at a Los Angeles Metropolitan Detention Center and is expected to be in court Friday.

Noibi managed to get through every layer of security with a fake ID and numerous boarding passes, at least one of which came from another passenger’s pocket. . . .

The arrest came after Noibi managed to board a plane Saturday under similar circumstances at JFK and travel to Los Angeles. Noibi boarded Virgin America flight 415 at JFK bound for L.A., according to an FBI affidavit.

He was found on the plane after it had taken off and was in flight, in a seat in the aircraft’s “main cabin select” area. When asked for his boarding pass, Noibi produced a boarding pass and ticket for a Friday flight that was not in his name.

On that pass was the name of a man with the initials M.D. After tracking down and interviewing him, the FBI learned that M.D. had lost his home-printed boarding pass from his back pocket, which had been folded into fourths, once he arrived at JFK via subway Friday. Once he discovered it missing, he obtained a new boarding pass from a ticket kiosk and boarded flight 413.

On flight 415 Saturday — the day after M.D.’s flight had already taken off — a similarly folded home-printed boarding pass with M.D.’s name on it was found on Noibi.

It is unclear how Noibi managed to get through security at both airports, and whether he left the L.A. airport once flight 415 landed last week and when he attempted to board Delta Airlines flight 46 to Atlanta Wednesday, although he claims to have cleared security.

“Noibi … said that he spent the night of June 28, 2011 at LAX Gate 51B, which I know is in the secure portion of the airport,” agent Hogg said in the affidavit. “Noibi claimed he was able to go through passenger screening by obtaining a seat pass and displaying his University of Michigan identification and a police report that his passport had been stolen.” . . .

When they searched his bags, they found more than 10 boarding passes in various individual’s names. . . .

Generally speaking, though, the TSA said in its statement, “Every passenger that passes through security checkpoints is subject to many layers of security including thorough physical screening at the checkpoint. . . . It is important to note that this passenger was subject to the same physical screening at the checkpoint as other passengers.”

And as the execrable Dr. Phil would ask, “An’ howzz that workin’ for ya?” Yup, while they are molesting 6-year-old non-Muslim kids and making a 95-year-old granny remove her diapers, this guy still managed to game the system. What does that tell you? It’s pretty obvious: treating everyone the same and going through endless, expensive, time-consuming security theater ain’t worth ass.

It is unclear why Noibi was arrested Wednesday and not when he was discovered last week as a stowaway on Flight 415.

Uh, I think it’s pretty clear why. The system is an epic failure. It hasn’t and won’t catch Islamic terrorists. You need to use your brain, logic, and just plain ole’ common sense for that. And we refuse to do any of that. Time to frisk the granny. . . .

You really think we’re safer than before 9/11? Ten years after 9/11, we are less safe and more vulnerable than ever. Yup, that whole Department of Homeland Security creation was a huge success! Thanks, George W. Bush and Joe Lieberman (who created DHS)!

It would be hilarious, if it weren’t so pathetic.

Debbie I would not worry about anything. We are very safe.

I say this because it must be obvious to anyone with even the slightest amount of gray matter between their ears that those who would do us harm are so busy laughing at how incompetent we are that they are in no position to do anything against us.

I_AM_ME on June 30, 2011 at 10:40 am

I use Virgin America – or I USED to – and I think it is time we saved a whole lot of money by dumping the entire security scam. After all, our lives don’t really count to the fecal matter running things.

I’d like to remind everyone that Janet Napolitano, head of Homeland Security, has said in would NOT be prudent (or even productive) to profile Moooooooslims. That sassy gal is the pride of USA!

And because of that insanity…95 year olds with Depends on are being violated…as well as little babies and toddlers. We know how prevalent those sub-groups are in terrorism. That is why this idiot was free to move about the country without being molested by the TSA.

And lastly, if you’re thinking this last Nigerian fella is a Mooooooooslim, shame on you. That is stinking thinking and even thou’ Moooooslims are terrorists 100% these days, you’re not being kind and understanding in a multi-cultural sense. And even thou’ Islam is NOT a race, you’re being racist, too.

He wasn’t arrested or even questioned when he got to LAX because of the new John Morton memo on prosecutorial discretion. Why did the plane continue to LAX when they discovered that he was using a day-old boarding pass? They should have immediately landed and been met by JTTF agents.

Airline gate personnel rarely look at a boarding pass… they just tear off the stub. That said, you gotta wonder why an expired boarding pass caught no one’s attention either in the secure part of the airport or at the boarding gate.

This is crazy; here I am refusing to visit the US as long as its security makes travelling as pleasant, inviting and stress-free as one would expect from the Gestapo and yet it appears only American citizens are threatened with having their nappies confiscated, their genitalia groped and their children traumatised.
I do remember that the so-called underwear bomber of 2009 was a Nigerian. North West flight 253, I believe…

Keir on June 30, 2011 at 11:46 am

Keir, I understand you on not wanting to visit my beautiful country (here in the good ole USofA) because of the TSA policies. We all know that ever since last fall the TSA has crossed the line on checking folks at the airports with their “pat-down” policies.

I haven’t flown in three years and the last time I flew, I remember I had to take off my shoes and my belt and I was scanned, I wasn’t “patted-down” (the TSA policies where a little different in 2008 when I last flew on an airplane). Nowadays, since I’m planning on leaving New York and move to the midwest (sorry DS I’m not interesting in living in Michigan), I’m planning on taking Amtrack to travel.

Wow, dude, you’ve posted on pretty much every website today. You’ve really been busy!

What is the surprise here? We have a government that does NOT care about the rule of law or the protection of its citizenry. In addition, we have a party (i.e., Republicans) that is afraid to stand up to this lawlessness because it either is afraid of what will be said about them or it agrees with what is happening (I think the later). How many more citizens will have to die at the hands of terrorists before the US govt starts doing their constitutional duty and protect its citizenry rather than take away their constitutional rights? I think by that time it will already be too late since we are currently being and slowly have been desensitized to tyranny.

Debbie Schlussel, you must be one crazy person. Seriously. What made you conclude that he is a Muslim? Secondly, what made you say he is a terrorist? You are 1 sick person. I guess all Nigerians r Muslims now. A lot of Nigerian Muslims have Muslim name. He doesn’t. SINCE YOU WIKI PAGE SAYS U FOCUS ON ISLAM AND AMERICAN MUSLIMS IT DOESN’T REALLY SURPRISE ME BUT GET YOURSELF CHECKED.

Rex on June 30, 2011 at 1:22 pm

Apparently you didn’t read the whole article, so what do you do, you attack the messenger by calling DS names like a child with tantrum issues.

This Oluwaseum character is a “muslim”, why the hell you can’t grasp that? Another thing, there is a large muslim population in Nigeria that’s increasing more and more on a daily basis, apperently your NOT getting all of the information because of the phucking MSM. I don’t blame you Rex for not acknowledging on what’s really going on around you, I blame the left wing MSM for their pathetic propaganda on we the american public. WAKE THE HELL UP PUTZ!

Sean R. on June 30, 2011 at 2:02 pm

Sean you are wrong, how do i know this? I’m half nigerian and no where does it say he is muslim. There is a large muslim population in Nigeria,i agree, but there is a larger christian population but i guess it’s easier to blame “muslims” and i’m not muslim myself.
Oluwaseun is a criminal based on his wrongful actions, no need to bring religion into this

Ola on June 30, 2011 at 3:30 pm

Debbie Schlussel does not seem like a very bright person. She sees “scary Muslims” behind every door and she ignores truth in preference for lies.

Here is the stowaway passenger’s facebook wall. Please have a look and tell me if this Christian is actually a muslim terrorist.

AmusedSpectator on June 30, 2011 at 3:30 pm

His claim to be a Christian means nothing. How many Christians do dry runs, game the system and test airport security for weaknesses? We’ve seen it before and some people want to take liars at the words. But hey, we must never offend Islam, ever. After all, doncha know its the Religion Of Peace!

NormanF on June 30, 2011 at 9:42 pm

Ola, you got a point there bro, and I made a little error, no where in the article that DS wrote it written and says that he’s a “muslim”! So your right and I’m a little wrong, whenever I’m wrong, I admit that I’m wrong.

But on ther other hand Ola, who commits the most terrorist atrocities across the world, is it a) christians, b) jews, c) hindus, d) buddhist, e) muslims or f) agnostics? The answer is E) muslims, it’s a fact, NOT rhetoric. You see if your aware of history you’ll acknowledge that they’ve been at war with the world since the early 7th century when their prophet Mohammed died in the 630s AD, from that point on, the islamist have been on a quest to convert every country into islam, and the countries that they’ve conquered wasn’t a muslim state.

Sean R. on June 30, 2011 at 4:03 pm

Debbie, You want to know how he got to the US. Well, he was born here in Ames, Iowa. He attended University of Michigan and was on the school football team. I think the guy is mentally unstable. I do not think he meant any harm. If TSA wants to put all sorts of label on the guy to protect their already soiled image, then, I can’t argue with that.

Naijaman on June 30, 2011 at 4:48 pm

Wow Debbie I am impressed, posts that actually criticize your unbelievable level of stupidity are making it through your guardian dragons of dumb. In response to REX, good point, it is so typical of the level of dumb Schlussel displays that she ignores the fact this person could very well be Christian (or Atheist, etc). And of course, even if he is Muslim this has nothing to do with anything. Guess what, people of all faiths and religions board trains, planes etc without proper passes for the simple reason they do not want to pay the fare. And of course he is clearly a petty criminal at worst. The absurd level of hysteria displayed on this site over such trivial things just shows how far this culture has declined over the last 10 years of government driven hysteria.

Go suck it AmericanObnoxious.

We all know you are the “duo” of “Dianne and Brian”. You’ve been posting like mad (just as you are!) the last two days. Flaming. Just like your hemorrhoids.

You’re a sad, sad git. LOL!

Skunky on June 30, 2011 at 6:23 pm

Wow… managed to get enter the country and fly for free several times and no one thought to profile him and ask the obvious questions! Willy Bulger has nothing on Olajide Noibi except you can say he’s still an American. But don’t look for the Famous But Incompetent to take interest since nothing happened. Now Islamic terrorists have found out how to bypass our aviation security with next to no effort and scant chance they will be caught the first time. Hey, kids and grandmas are more of a threat than Islamic terrorists. And that’s why nothing will change!

NormanF on June 30, 2011 at 6:47 pm

I am laughing at how when the word muslim is even hinted, the attack dogs are let out at Debbie. I wonder where all these muslim defenders are when the one muslim (to use their statistics) does harm people? What then? Don’t blame the religion or the thinking, just blame the individual? That still shows that with enough muslims harming in the world in proportion to the other world religions, so what does that say in the overal picture? Just wish you are never in that situation where you are facing some misunderstood muslim shouting “Allah ackbar” before you see a bright white light of the exploives that person was carrying.

Debbie, you’re so judgemental. I am also a U-M student, and I have friends in common with this guy. He’s a dedicated Christian. I’m not sure why he got into this situation, but because he’s Nigerian means he’s got to be an Islamic terrorist? Please. Do some research.

Elise on July 1, 2011 at 11:16 pm

I actually know him relatively well too. I went to church with him when I was a freshman at UM. He is a christian and he most definitely is not a terrorist. But thanks for jumping to conclusions Debbie

BT on July 5, 2011 at 3:55 pm

Dude was born in Iowa. I wish they’d stop referring to him as an immigrant, he is a natural born American, who happens to have a Nigerian background.
He has mental problems.
Dude seems to be crazy. TSA and the airlines should have stopped it the 1st time.
Debbie not sure how to pronounce your name (now would I be wrong to think you are of Nazi origin because I dont get your name??? silly, exactly thats how you sound), but I’m Nigerian-American (2nd generation if you must know) and my family is all Christian and so are my family members in Nigeria, and even as far back as my great grand parents were Christians. Not just Christians but practicing Christians, I hope you can say the same about your ancestors. Get your facts right.

Ada on July 2, 2011 at 9:55 pm

You need to get your story straight. He was born in IOWA, that’s an American state if you didnt know. He attended the University of Michigan and is NOT a muslim.
He is clearly mentally unstable. He is a Christian, his family are practicing Christians. Just as his acts are shocking and disgusting, its also disgusting that you jump to your own conclusions based on racism.
Please get the story straight before you try to damage a whole group of people.

getyoutstorystraight on July 13, 2011 at 9:58 pm

Debbie Schlussel:

Lady, you are very sick, perhaps seriously mentally ill. You obviously didn’t do any fact-checking for this article. He’s a Christian born in America, not an immigrant. You have no proof that this was a “dry run” or that he had any intention to pull off a terrorist attack at any time.

One day someone will take you to court and sue you into Kingdom Come for defamation, not that you care, since you seem to inhabit the same paranoid alternative reality as Glenn Beck.
