Bend Over for a Ton of New Libyan US Citizens: Judge Seeks Asylum for Libyan “Students”

By Debbie Schlussel

I wondered how long it would be before Barack Obama’s needless, absurd war on Libya would result in America granting citizenship to thousands of Libyan Muslims claiming they need asylum here.  Well, it didn’t take long. They’re already overloading Italy and other European locales . . . and now the invasion is proceeding here on U.S. soil, with the help of a judge who is lounging around on a lush tax-paid retirement.

Libyan Beachhead on U.S. Soil: Qaddafi AND Libyan Rebels Have the Last Laugh in Libyan Asylum Claims

George W. Bush went to war to spend American lives and billions to hand Iraq over from a Sunni leader to Iran-backed Shi’ites.  And as a reward for America bending over, we got double screwed–we now have over 100,000 Iraqi “refugees” in our midst with green cards or U.S. citizenship, many of whom have turned out to be Al-Qaeda spies, honor-killers, child molesters, and other assorted “desirables.”

Now, a retired Michigan judge is doing the same for Libyans, as a result of our war on the country, and is working to get asylum–that means green cards and, not long after, U.S. citizenship–for Libyan Muslims we know nothing about.  We have absolutely no way of verifying who they really are or why they want to be here, just as we had no way of verifying it with Iraqis or Muslims from anywhere else in the world that we’ve willingly allowed in as permanent fixtures to further disease the American terrain.  A reader who is an alumnus of Cooley Law School in Michigan sends this absurd “job opportunity” provided for Cooley graduates seeking a “job.” And the job doesn’t even pay–an unemployed lawyer gets to work to undermine America from within . . . and does it for free. Sounds like a terrific prospect. Crack whoring is more respectable. By the way, since the Obama administration relaxed asylum rules, these Libyan frauds only have to claim they need asylum, and they are automatically allowed to stay here for years on end while their asylum claim is processed. IF–and that’s a big “IF”–ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) decides to assign lawyers to challenge the claims, immigration judges grant the majority of asylum claims, anyway. Only Judge Mahlon Hanson, in Miami, rejects a decent number of the asylum claims.

Dear Debbie,

I just received the below job posting from my Alma mater Thomas M. Cooley Law School which I thought may be of interest to you. It seems there is a movement to obtain asylum for approximately 55 Libyan nationals who are attending Michigan State University. I suppose this is just yet another manifestation of the consequences to a disjoint foreign policy. I can only imagine the possible threat to national security resulting from the extension of asylum to people we really do not know. I would not be surprised if asylum were granted to these purported students on humanitarian grounds when in fact all along they have been Libyan agents sent to America. We could be giving a free pass to agents of a nation we are in armed conflict with that want to kill us!

Location: Lansing, MI

Description: A retired Judge is coordinating efforts to assist about 55 Libyan students from Michigan State University (MSU) who have been cut off from their homes, their scholarships, and their resources oversees with the current political crisis in Libya. Most of these students need help with preparation of asylum claims–their current status was just extended, but only until June 30.

A local attorney is training volunteers and overseeing the work they do. This involves analyzing complex legal issues, researching all federal jurisdictions, and writing a brief that can be tailored to each student’s facts.

Each student’s “facts”?!  Ha. That’s a good one. More like, each “student’s” lies. ‘Cuz that’s what most asylum claims are: complete BS and total lies about how oppressed and persecuted these Muslim frauds are or will be back home with the rest of the Brotherhood. There is no way of verifying any of it. It’s mostly baloney, and the odds are good of getting an immigration judge to buy it and go along.

Oh, and by the way, that’s just for the 55 students at Michigan State. I’m told there are similar efforts going forth on behalf of the Libyan “students” (I wonder how many actually showed up in class) at every college in every state in the Union. Could result in thousands of new Libyan Muslim U.S. citizens, most of whom aren’t exactly fans of America or Americans.

This whole Michigan-Judge-seeks-to-populate-our-own-Little-Libya thing reminds me of a bumper sticker I’ve seen on the aging trucks of poor, working-class, divorced men who can’t afford to live because the leather-skinned wife’s divorce lawyer just raped ’em: “Divorce . . . the F—ing You Get for the F—ing You Got.”

I call this retired Judge (will let you know if I find out his identity) and what he is doing as a result of this gazillion-dollar, waste-of-time, gas-price-inflating war on Libya: Asylum for Libyan “Students” . . . the F—ing America Gets on U.S. Soil, for the F—ing America Gets Over Libyan Airspace in Obama’s Dumb War on Libya.

It’s bad enough we are wasting ammunition, soldiers’ time, and gazillions on these people over there. Now we gotta let droves of them come her legally to rape the country? Yup, we’re getting screwed twice by these “sexy,” hirsute, anti-American Libyan Muslim guys encrusted with tacky porno-star mustaches.

Like I said, Bush did it with Iraq, and now it’s ramping up as a result of Obama’s Libya. Only in America. . . where we just keep on bending over like Ned Beatty in “Deliverance.”

We Americans seem entranced by the idea of inviting purported students, even Islamic, to these shores. Perhaps we have forgotten that it was Iranian “students” who took over our embassy in Tehran in November 1979.

And were bringing more of these people from terrorist sponsoring countries into my country? DS, Obama is no different than Bush on sending more and more muslim immigrants to this country, Bush did it with the Iraq war by sending Iraqi refugee aliens into this country, and some to most of those Iraqi immigrants who came here under Bush were arrested on numerous crimes as you written in the past Debbie.

I won’t be surprised if these Libyan immigrants under Obama will do some type of crime against anybody in this country and get arrested for it? Last I checked, Libya is not our ally and also they don’t pose a threat to this country as well.

No wonder it’s called “asylum”. It’s what this country is being turned into.

CornCoLeo on June 8, 2011 at 3:00 pm

If we were really smart and pragmatic about this whole ‘Arab Spring’ thing, we’d sit back and let the anti-Israel crowd kill each other off for as long as they went at it. Then, there’d be less of them to deal with and Israel would have a few less terror types to deal with.

After that, there’s still no sense in really negotiating with them or, lettin’ them all come over here at will. We have enough to sort out.

I read somewhere that in the early 1980’s,one of Qaddafi’s hitmen murdered a Libyan exile living in this country. We should remind ourselves as to just how bad this guy truly is.

To be followed by immigrants from Yemen, Egypt, Syria and the rest of these hellhole countries.

Because if there’s one thing this sinking country needs it’s some more inbred primitives from over there.

Sad to say but ICE and/or CIS will never investigate these cases; it will follow the same path as the “amnesty” seekers from IRCA 1986 and those of us in the service back then saw how that worked out.

Look on the bright side…the companies that manufacture rubber stamps will be posting bit profits. Who knows, maybe they’ll be creating jobs the Obama administration can’t just to keep up with the demand.

IceNoMore on June 8, 2011 at 11:44 pm

Just how many of them will be Al Qaeda terrorists? We don’t know and can’t know. You can’t read people’s minds.

No good will come of admitting Libyans here. And ICE is too broke to track them.

America – desperate and not serious about Islam!

I don’t blame immigration judges who are overworked and underpaid and they have nowhere near the staff and resources to investigate alleged refugee claims carefully.

As much I loathe having Muslim refugees getting to stay here for years on end, they are entitled to due process. If our government won’t do due diligence and secure the borders, that’s not their fault. One isn’t required to prove one’s innocence.

The government could avoid that by setting up strict rules to admit and process refugee applications. Since it won’t, no surprise we’re royally screwed. Then again, this is the same federal government that doesn’t give a damn about the lives of its own employees. So why should it give a damn about the country’s safety?

That is where we are today.

Obama’s mishandling of the ‘Arab Spring’ says it all. If Democracy is what the ME is fighting for why aren’t these other cowards there assisting in the fight. The West sends decent young men to fight the battles and in return we get no-goodniks. ME wars have opened the doors for a tsunami of Islamists to infiltrate every nook and cranny along with the welfare systems these countries offer. It’s a bloody ruse and until someone takes the ‘bull by the balls’ the West is doomed. Last week a soccer team from Senegal went missing in Europe, hiding somewhere to claim asylum because of the lopsided Human Rights that the West offers. Here is an interesting read:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-2000622/Islamic-extremism-I-warned-years-ago–ministers-admit-I-right.html

The Italian island of Lampadusa has been overrun by 30,000 African/ME asylum seekers last month. Notice no one is going to the country alongside it according to Asylum Laws because they too don’t have social security. The Muslims have always stated that they will use stealth and the female womb as their secret weapon to overrun Western civilisation. Seems to be working with the assistance of the loonie Liberals. To date Russia, China, Japan, India are not preferred destinations or even the oil rich, Swarovski crusted, fancy nancy car loving rich Arab states. Why…

BHO is heading for Puerto Rico, looking for votes. This adds the other part of the equation for the sheeple.

Don’t hold your breath folks because the US media will be absolutely quiet on this matter of asylum/refugees.

And so it begins…I just saw this email from DHS….
ICE announces employment authorization eligibility for certain Libyan students

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has announced special relief for certain F-1 Libyan students who have suffered severe economic hardship as a direct result of the civil unrest in Libya since February 2011. This relief applies only to students who were lawfully present in the United States in F-1 status on Feb. 1, 2011, and enrolled in an institution that is certified by ICE’s Student and Exchange Visitor Program.

ICE has published a notice in the Federal Register suspending certain regulatory requirements in order to allow eligible Libyan F-1 students to obtain employment authorization, work an increased number of hours during the school term, and, if necessary, reduce their course load while continuing to maintain their F-1 student status.

“We want to ensure that students from Libya, who were here when civil unrest began, are able to continue their studies without the worry of financial burdens due to the armed conflict,” said Louis Farrell, director for the Student and Exchange Visitor Program. “The changes announced in this notice will allow eligible students from Libya to obtain employment authorization so that they can meet their basic living expenses while continuing to pursue their education in the United States.”

There has been an ongoing armed conflict in Libya since February. Approximately 2,000 Libyan F-1 students are currently enrolled in schools in the United States. The armed conflict in Libya has increased the financial burden on many of these students, who previously relied on assistance from the Libyan government or family members in Libya to meet basic living expenses. In addition, the situation in Libya has made it unfeasible for these students to safely return to Libya in the foreseeable future.

ICE manages the Student and Exchange Visitor Program and the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System, which automates the process for collecting, maintaining, and managing information about international foreign students, exchange visitors and their dependents during their stay in the United States.

The Department of State has also announced special relief for certain Libyan J-1 exchange visitors who have suffered severe economic hardship as a direct result of the civil unrest in Libya since February 2011. More information about this relief is available in the Federal Register.

To learn more about the Student and Exchange Visitor Program, visit http://www.ice.gov.

A fact sheet regarding employment authorization eligibility for certain Libyan students is available by clicking here.

You sound like a racist. I would like to meet you and your fellow racist bloggers. I know plenty of wonderful Libyans who are NOT extremist Muslims. Educate yourself and you won’t sound like a hostile uneducated moron.

Tsiu Marpo on June 9, 2011 at 9:08 pm

Tsui Marpo– You educate yourself first. Libyan are worst creatures. i read with a libyan muslim recently. He was enjoying america and mocking at Americans at the same time. He did that only when no Americans were present. If they are nice toy ou then they think you are nothing. Just advance in life and see how many of these so called nice Libyans are still nice to you. Byt the way I can give you the name of asshole and the place I met him. He was joking how some white girls want to have sex and he is just making them happy .All trash talk. I never talked to him again

If Italy and other European countries think they’re swamped with Moslem asylum seekers NOW, wait until the now-so-called “Palestinians” get their SECOND autonomous homeland. They’ll be pouring out of “Palestine” as though it were a building on fire, flooding and setting up terrorist states-within-states in Italy, France and Spain.

Send ’em to Malmo!

Occam's Tool on June 10, 2011 at 3:58 pm

Tsiu Marpo — Libyans, being descendants of native Berbers and Arab colonizers, are White Caucasoids, closely related to Sicilians, Sardinians, Corsicans, and Greeks, among others. So, stuff it.
