Sharif Ahmed Nour – Guess the Religion: Somali Cabbie w/ “Bomb Components” in Apartment

By Debbie Schlussel

Clearly, the FBI must have found something very serious and scary in the Irving, Texas apartment of Sharif Ahmed Nour because they were going to charge him with possessing “bomb-making components” and the media is already preparing his defense for him, saying he “may have been mentally disturbed.”  Uh-huh, in the same way Mohammed Atta, Osama Bin Laden, Nidal Malik Hassan, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, Faisal Shahzad, Hezbollah, HAMAS, Fatah/PLO, and the nearly 2 billion Muslims around the world who hate us are “mentally disturbed.” As I’ve noted before, it’s part of the Al-Qaeda/Islamic terrorism playbook to either recruit the mentally disturbed or act mentally disturbed to discredit any allegations of serious terrorism plots.

Wanna Take a Taxi to the Airport w/ a Muslim Driver & Explosive Materials?

This story sort of reminds me of the explosion in the Manila, Phillipines apartment of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed’s nephew and 1993 World Trade Center bombing mastermind Ramzi Yousef, when he was mixing explosives for his “Operation Bojinka” (Terror in the Skies) plot.  His apartment caught on fire and authorities found some very disturbing hazardous materials and bomb-making components inside.  Was Nour up to the same thing?  Well, he did drive his cab from Dallas-Forth Worth’s airport and had easy access to drive up and park his cab awful close to the place.

But, hey, I’m sure it’s nothing to worry about:  Muslim cab driver from Somalia, the hotbed of Al-Qaeda’s most brutal branch Al-Shabaab, easy access to the airport, explosive materials and bomb-making components in his apartment . . . isn’t that the story of your every day, average, innocent American going about his business?  Sounds like it to me. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just a hysterical Islamophobe, right?

IRVING — The FBI and the Joint Terrorism Task Force joined the investigation of an Irving taxicab driver after firefighters found suspicious materials inside his apartment near Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Sunday morning.

The Brookstone apartment complex in the 3600 block of Brock Drive was swarming with detectives and agents all afternoon.

The unspecified items were discovered after Irving firefighters responded to a small fire at apartment of 41-year-old Sharif Ahmed Nour.

The bomb squad and hazardous materials experts were dispatched a short time later. At the time, police said the contents of the apartment did not pose a threat to the public.

“At this point we’re taking every precaution necessary,” said Irving police Officer John Argumaniz. “That’s why we’ve called in the joint task force to assist with the investigation.”

Nour’s orange Jet Taxi was parked outside the apartment, surrounded by yellow police tape.

A friend, Ahmed Riyalle, told News 8 that the cab driver is from Somalia and has been driving cabs in and out of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport for years.

“He’s not okay,” Riyalle said. “Mentally, he’s not okay, but he is able to work.”

Riyalle said Nour never appeared to be threatening.

Nour is under arrest, and was originally going to be charged with having bomb-making components, but it was later decided to charge the man with possession of prohibited weapons.

Well, we’ve let our country get taken over with the continuing invasion of Muslim immigrants, just like this guy. So, more and more of this is gonna happen.

And we just keep bending over.

Don’t worry, though, because the FBI says Nour “isn’t part of any terror network.” Ah, that will make it soooooo much better when he blows people up.

Memo to the Forever Butkissing Islam: Nour IS, indeed, part of a terrorist network. It’s called, “ISLAM.”

Boy the list keeps growing. Now I will have plenty of data to back up my arguments to my liberal family.

WTFC if he’s a member of a “network?” Lone wolves can do just as much damage. Here’s betting he IS part of a splinter group.

What if the FBI want to lull the terrorist organizations into believing they aren’t suspect or under serveilance inorder to allow them the opportunity to lead the FBI to their superiors. One can only hope, atleast I’m trying to provide our security forces with some excuse for inaction.

Unfortunately, I doubt that that is the case. It is a mixture of self-loathing, voluntary ignorance, and incompetence at work in such situations.

I also do not trust the F.B.I. in such matters. They are all too quick to make authoritative statements about the non-existence of terrorist connections before they have even possibly had the time to ascertain that that was the case. It would rather be like the old London police claiming that the murder of prostitutes over a short period of time were definitely not the work of one man(Jack the Ripper, but were merely isolated incidents. The F.B.I. is in no way looking after public safety by offering either premature or patently false reassurances to the public, but rather diminishes it.

I live in Minneapolis and for the life of me, I cannot figure out why every taxi cab driver is a Somali Muslim! How do they come here and take over an entire industry?
Do you remember the story recently about the wreckless Super Shuttle driver whom I believe was Muslim, too?

Every cab driver is a Muslim.

Rent a car if you go on a business trip or on vacation. It could just save your life.
