Islamo-Panderer FOX News Reporter Plagiarizes Schlussel Fed Bldg Bomb Scoop

By Debbie Schlussel

As you’ll recall on Friday, I posted an exclusive report about the bomb found in the McNamara Federal Building in Detroit. I exclusively reported and BROKE the story here on Friday that the bomb was brought into the federal building by the private security firm guards on February 26th and sat there for 20 days until somebody finally decided to screen it, this past Friday.  None of the other Detroit media outlets had a clue and didn’t report any of this. . .  until last night when pro-Muslim, liberal, self-hating Jewish reporter Simon Shaykhet stole every single specific detail from my site and claimed he “broke the story.”

FOX 2 News & Simon Shaykhet Plagiarizing (& Islamo-Pandering) For You

On his twitter account, Shaykhet tweeted that he was “working” on a “huge story,” when the “work” was actually mine and he simply read it from this site.  In his story he cited no sources, didn’t give me credit, and simply ripped off every single specific detail I reported.  We know that Shaykhet reads my site, and in fact, he also did an Islamo-pandering report against me and my site when his friends at the HAMAS unindicted co-conspirator CAIR Action Network sued me.  Shaykhet follows few people on twitter and only one religious “leader,” imam Dawud Walid a/k/a Delano Anthony Willis, Jr., the convicted criminal who serves as HAMAS’ CAIR Action Network’s Michigan chief.  When he did the biased report against me, Shaykhet included far more airtime for Walid/Willis Jr. and far less for me.  His questions were already loaded against me, as they have been when he has interviewed local rabbis and Jewish leaders during Israeli wars in response to Muslim attacks.  He bends over backward to kiss the butts of the most extremist of Muslims. And it’s no coincidence that a Muslim extremist from a group the US government confirmed raised money for HAMAS is the only religious person or group Shaykhet is following.

Now Simon Shaykhet has blatantly stolen from me.  He knows it and I know it.  And now FOX 2 News, which is owned and operated by FOX News Channel and its parent company News Corp, knows it.  It’s not the first time the newscast has outright ripped off from me without credit.  A couple of years ago or so, when terrorist supporting Muslim Muthanna Al-Hanooti was indicted for working for Saddam Hussein through a charity, FOX 2 News admitted they stole an exclusive photo I had of Hanooti.  The newscast never gave a credit to me or my site and instead had its BS artist general manager, Jeff Murri, call me and give he a half-assed, worthless apology and a promise it would never happen again.  Well, last night it happened again. FOX 2 News stole from me yet again.

But plagiarists have a comfy home at the FOX 2 News operation.  The newscast recently hired Charlie LeDuff, a former New York Times reporter who was caught in multiple instances of plagiarism (at two different newspapers), but keeps getting hired because he plays on his minority status and faux-folksiness.  So, Simon Shaykhet has a kindred spirit in thievery.

This is also the same news operation that let reporter Fanchon Stinger continue as anchor after she did a half-hour pandering, live apologist interview with Louis Farrakhan, while she was sleeping with his married Detroit representative, Rayford Jackson, and after she helped Jackson money-launder campaign contributions to the Bush-Cheney 2004 campaign, both journalistic no-nos.  Jackson is now in federal prison doing time for bribing public officials  to vote for a sludge contract, a contract for which Stinger did public relations and accepted money, while she was covering this story–another fundamental violation of the ethics required for journalists.  I broke the story about the campaign contributions and the Nation of Islam conflict of interest.  I also interviewed Rayford Jackson and asked the questions FOX 2 News would not (watch the video).

FOX 2 News reporters and anchors regularly host banquets and other events for the openly pro-HAMAS, pro-Hezbollah American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and its “former” terrorist leader, Imad Hamad. Again, another blatant display of no journalistic integrity and a lot of bias. Trust me, they ain’t hosting any pro-Israel events. One FOX 2 News reporter told me the reporters are forced to host these events, asked and required by the station. When I asked general manager Jeff Murri about this a few years ago, he confirmed that he requires this and wouldn’t stop because, “it’s community service.” Uh-huh. So is providing MCs for Klan meetings. Same difference.

I was told this morning by FOX 2 News anchor Huel Perkins, who is the face of FOX 2 News and generally a class act, that he would raise this issue at a meeting, but let’s see if he does anything.  Below is the e-mail I received from him, but it was very non-committal:

From: Huel Perkins mailto: Huel.Perkins@FoxTV.com

Subject: Breaking News

Debbie,

I’ll bring it up in the meeting.  I had no idea.  Thanks.

Huel

In the meantime, please write to Simon Shaykhet and let him know what a scumbag he is.  His e-mail address is Simon.Shaykhet@FoxTV.com.  You can also write Huel Perkins, whose e-mail address is posted above.

FOX 2 News’ slogan is, “FOX 2 News . . . Working For You.”  More like, “FOX 2 News . . . Stealing From You.”

Yup… the Detroit news scene is a mess.

Between Fox2News and the Detroit News, they’re examples of the MSM has become.

And why its losing profits, circulation, viewers and is generally dying.

The spirit of compromising objectivity, along with fraud, plagiarism and outright incompetence won’t revive it.

Maybe it is time to bring an action for plagiarism against Fox News.

You and I both know that you are plagiarized alot, such as by the Washington Times, Fox News, etc.

Keep up the good fight.

In other relevant news …, Juan Williams is an idiot.

The news media does the same thing down here in Indy all the time. They take pot shots all the time at us, but troll our blogs daily looking for news stories. Usually the best you can get them to do is acknowledge the reports first surfaced on “local blogs” without ever attributing the story to the original publisher. I outed my councilor for claiming an abandoned house in my district as his residence so he could serve on the council and a local NBC affiliate reporter picked it up and ran it as an exclusive story. The station never even offered an apology after I called her out on it.

Oh, this “reporter” Shaykhet broke the story all right – in the sense that a little child breaks a toy. In other words, in several pieces.

Not to forget that male airhead – Pawn Vannity! FNC would have done better to retain Colmes instead of him

A disproportionate number of private security guards are muslim immigrants. Generally, they enter the country without a profession, and drift into low pay/non-physical jobs. Further, many muslim enclaves are close to airports, and many are employed in screening jobs with sensitive security access. And the above is yet another reason why knee-jerk analyses of the quranic jihad terror obligations that all slaves-of-allah bear, are irresponsible. The arab-quran dictates: “jihad is prescribed to you.”

Shame on them!

What a weird head shape. It’s looks more vertical and less horizontal than it should be. Kinda like a wedge of cheese.

CornCoLeo on March 23, 2011 at 10:16 am

Will you sue him for plagiarism, copyright infringement, or both, Ms. Schlussel?

Solomon2 on March 23, 2011 at 2:06 pm

Copywrite infringement is a serious issue. Maybe it’s time for a Cease and Desist letter to this fraud.

Hey Debbie, just saw the link on drudge for this story. It goes to yahoo and no mention of you there either.

sick’em Debbie – show these phonies you don’t take any
of their sh*t

got2birdie on March 23, 2011 at 9:02 pm

While Shaykhet may have plagerized, your unfortunate headline implicating Fox News is in my mind also shameful. I think most will agree that the term “Fox News” is understood to mean the cable news channel and not the news department of a local Fox broadcast station. Granted, they mY all in some way be connected to News Corp, but not in such a way as to implicate “Fox News” with plagerism as the headline would suggest.

“Islamo-Panderer”?

“Islamo-Panderer”?? “Islamo-Panderer”???

Yeah, right. LOL

You’re whining, Ms. Schlussel, and what’s worse, you’re disingenuous.

It’s very telling that your only supporters on this blog are angry haters and very unhappy misfits like yourself.

You don’t have any credibility. This is a chat room for losers.

Adios, fool.

Dear Diane & Brian: Whenever someone can’t factually refute a position they resort to this hate or anger claim. Facts are what counts. The emotion that accompanies them is usually irrelvant. The attack on someone’s emotions are totally an ad-hominem attack; research your logic fallacies if you need a definition. I had to put up with 20 plus years of our stupid news media lying about Soviet Russia and communism when the facts were abundantly clear. Countless escapees from communist countries made it clear what life was like in Eastern Europe, and they were totally ignored by academia and the mass media. The same is happening today. Read Ali’s Infidel or Wafa Sultan’s A God Who Hates, or Robert Spencer’s books. Wake up.

I just wanted you to know that I did send an email to Huel Perkins and Simon Shaykhet. Here is what I wrote: Gentlemen;
It’s a sad day when newsmen who are supposed to be people of integrity stoop so low as to not only plagiarize someone else’s material, but fail to give credit where credit is due. Your continued plagiarizing of Debbie Schlussel’s articles is not only unconscionable, but also bad form on your part and the part of your news organization. I am referring to an article I read on Debbie’s web site entitled, “Islamo-Panderer FOX News Reporter Plagiarizes Schlussel Fed Bldg Bomb Scoop” I just wanted you to know that your organization looks foolish to those of us who know the true source of your stories, and when we’re around the coffee maker, we share this information with others. The more you plagiarize Debbie Schlussel’s articles, the more foolish your organization looks to the rest of us who shake our heads and wonder where journalistic integrity has gone.
