A neighbor witnessed the incident and called 911. That’s nice. Why not yell at the punk “Hey I see you a$$hole!” Then call 911. The young criminal probably would have run off not violated the woman. That would have been better. The police still could have arrested the punk for attempted rape. That would have been “great work” by the patrol officers and illustrate how citizens ought to work with the Detroit police.

Damn shame. Only in detroit is that a victory. Too bad the neighbor didn’t have a pair and actually do the city a favor and stop that rotten S.O.B. from ruining that womans life. In Wayne county he’ll probably get a super light plea deal. After all he’s only a poor under privelidged CHILD, the public defender will say.

AS the human population continues to J-curve, you can expect more of this deviant behavior. Only and until the social fabric completely disintegrates, you will see this lackluster response to injustice. Then, and only then, will anarchy prevail. The fittest will survive and the strongest will live.(Read between the lines about everyone else). Now, I for one would love to see justice play out beforehand, but not going to happen with our politicians and “leadership”.

The police chief is an idiot, it happened at NOON, broad daylight. Obviously the criminals feel no threat what so ever to commit their crimes right in the open. Nice police coverage ya got there. Now they will want to spend more money on cameras so they can record the crimes and tivo them later, all the while claiming it will make the public safer.

I think the “great job” by the police chief was in reference to catching the perp before getting away. This is sad to read that police are being reactive instead of proactive. Yet some douche bag public defender with a cooperative testicle lacking judge let him out because he is still underage youth. All my sympathies are directed toward the woman and her relatives who will have to live their rest of their lives with this rape.

The 911 call informed of a woman being raped. Well… is that that important, can it wait? It is just a man doing his manly thing. As long as WE catch the perpetrator, WE’ll be the heroes!!! No rush, women are used to it.

Last time I came up on a Woman about to be raped back in the mid 1980’s in Dayton Ohion on the river walk, I pulled a Gun on him and I actually kicked him in the Butt with my foot and he ran like hell, what was really sad is I later found out the guy was actually the woman’s Husband whom she was seeking a divorce from and she had a restraining order on, and he decided to get back at her by trying to rape her.

I can hardly wait for Detroit City Council to let everyone know what new law will prevent and resolve these rape crimes. Remember, they are your LEADERS and what they say, goes! Right? Oh, and how many of them have CCWs, personal police protection, and heavily patrolled neighborhoods? You, the general public who pay and pay and pay for these LEADERS are FOOLS.
