I remember reading your assessment of this incident at the time it took place.

When I first heard the news of the abduction I also got the impression that she and her co-horts were up to no good. Reading your evaluation gave legs to my suspicion, and reading your update here nails it!

Now I have no doubt that all media will have nothing to say about this aspect of this woman’s actions and foul mouth, and that they will treat her as if she were the poor, put upon little saint and martyr, kinda’ like they treated Tiller the Baby Killer as if he were a poor, compassionate Mohandas Gandhi, or some form of compassionate famous person.

I am tired of the bias in media and the omissions of such pertinent, important information as the true nature of this beast.

Yeah, that piece of latrine slime should have been left to rot in Iran. I have NO SYMPATHY for such a fraud unless she comes clean on Oprah (I call her “Dirty Bitch” Winfrey because of the way she showcased the women torn apart by the chimp…a TRUE caring person would NEVER lift off a veil off of a person who suffered so.) and says she was WRONG, loves America and then comes out as a Conservative.

If the POS has NOT learned after over a year in Iran, well, she is the ULTIMATE mental-case and has not an ounce of integrity and lives fueled on lies.

The fact that peeps are still fooled by DB Winfrey just floors me. I have been on to her fakeness for decades, but what really sealed the deal for me is when DBW went to the Super-Dome after Katrina and the look of contempt on her face (all the while faking to care) just said it all.

I may sound a little paranoid, but I think that this whole Iran incident was just a ploy to throw off some CIA/MI6/Mossad agents who might suspect Ms Shourd of being… AN IRANIAN SPY!

Imagine… the ultimate taqqiyah: you have an agent that’s doing such a great job in your enemy’s country that’s in danger of being “made” by their security forces. Your sleeper cells are getting antsy and you have to do something to ensure that your agent continues to keep up the good work at any cost. She has all this vital intel from her travels and encounters. What better way to get your briefing, do a debrief, then redeploy your star agent than to arrest and charge same. Make a big newsfest over it, create disinformation regarding “ill treatment” of said “hostage”, negotiate a “ransom”, then release your agent for the next big mission!

It doesn’t hurt if your star agent is cute. It has been done before. It will be done again.

Soviet Russia should’ve known this. They’ll learn.

Although I haven’t been following this story very closely I would like to say that the very idea of someone just “out for a hike” along the Iran/Iraq border during a war in countries filled with terrorists is up to more then just sightseeing. Either that or Shourd and her companions are dumb as a box of hammers.

This whole episode smelt bad from the beginning. Three innoc ent “hikers” wandered into Iran unintentionally. And this story was accepted by the brain dead lamestream media? An eight year old kid would have realized that there was something fishy about the whole story. Now the Left has another heroine to celebrate.

Those three were just stupid. Shane Bauer and Shourd both speak arabic (Bauer is fluent) and because they have written unflattering things about Israel and the US, they thought they could walk around Iraq and Iran freely. The third guy was just stupid enough to believe that these two somehow fit in like natives, and he would be safe with them. I’ll bet when they ran into the Iranians, they thought they could talk their way out of it. But imagine how surprised they were when instead of the Iranians seeing three enlightened westerners who hate Israel, they just saw three Americans. And to the Iranians if an American speaks fluent arabic then he must be a spy. So Sara and Shane thought they could identify with the arabs, but found out that maybe the arabs don’t need them afterall. It’s something like trying to curl up and make friends with a rattlesnake, a bear or a chimp. Eventually you are going to bitten.

It’s not just HOprah who won’t ask the kind of probing questions Debbie put forth (i.e. whether Soros or any of his fronts put up the money to free Sarah “Shroud”), it’s the entire “lame-stream” media (a moniker very well deserved, many times over).

And your aslo right Debbie, HOprah isn’t going to ask her tough questions like, “why was she living in a ass-backwards country like Syria that promotes islamic terrorism, etc.”, and “Who exactly was it that released her, was it George Soros who released you Mrs. Shourd? How did you get all of that money for you to be released from the Iranian government?” We all know that HOprah isn’t going to ask this lady anything like that, instead she’s going to kiss ground that Shourd walks on and give out gushy comments, etc.!

Hoprah should take her entire dumbass sheep-like followers to see the Iranian prison that Shourd was kept in. It’s just wishful thinking, but I wouldn’t mind it if Hoprah and her worshippers stayed for a while to see sharia law in action. Plus, there are two very good things that would happen if they stayed in Iran. No more Hoprah means one less hack for BHO on TV, and we would raise the average IQ of the American people significantly.
