Three Things We Must Remember on Every 9/11 Anniversary

By Debbie Schlussel

I’m back in blog commission, after observance of the Jewish New Year (Rosh HaShanah) and the Jewish Sabbath. And even though 9/11 is almost over, I couldn’t let the ninth anniversary of the Islamic terrorist attacks pass by without reposting what I noted on the same anniversary, last year. There are only three things to remember–three things we’ve sadly forgotten–on this day:

* Remember Who Was Murdered & Died on that Day:

Nearly 3,000 innocent people targeted and murdered in cold blood because they were Americans. People like my cousin, Jon Schlissel, who heroically went back to his office to save someone who needed help getting out.

jonschlissel.jpgwtcattack.jpg

My Cousin, Jon Schlissel, Z”L (Of Blessed Memory), Died on 9/11

* Remember Who Did It:

“9/11 Was an Islam Job” Graphic By Reader Doda McCheesle

This was the act of 19 Arab Muslim men. No, they weren’t “random” people acting alone. They didn’t “hijack a religion” or any of that other BS we’ve heard rotely regurgitated for eight years. Their religion–ISLAM–hijacked them, and it continues its slow hijacking of America because we continue to let their fellow co-religionists in.

* Remember Who Celebrated & Cheered:

Muslims around the world–Palestinian Muslims on the streets of Ramallah, Palestinian Muslims on the streets of Patterson, New Jersey, Shi’ite Muslims who were waiters and staff at a Mid-East restaurant in West Bloomfield, Michigan, Shi’ite Muslims all over Dearbornistan.

The biotch-let Katie Couric gives excuses for it (and blaming Israel–you know, blame the JOOOOS):

Thank you for posting this. I went today, on Shabbos, to the NYC demonstration. It was great to be with like-minded people and pay tribute to people such as your cousin. Sadly, I know the mosque will go up however, I believe they will have a hard time getting there. A lot of construction workers there today said no way! Debbie, BHO is making me ill, when he said today that Islam is not our enemy – he’s f’ing crazy or he’s a muslim! I would do everything in my power to impeach this MF if there was any way we can. Can we?

It could never have happened without our cooperation…that’s all I know. That was my first thought the moment I saw it on TV and that opinion has strengthened with time and info.

I’m so glad the cameras were ready and waiting to take the photos before, and as, it was happening…aren’t you? Did everyone miss that FEMA newscast where one Fema woman stated that they were ready 4 days before it happened. (I saw that once and never again!!!)

I just don’t understand why we’re in bed with the muslims??? Anybody know?

Do I understand your post correctly that you are stating we, the United States – our government or WE the People were in on this inhuman atrocity committed by barbaric animals and helped plan and execute it? I hope you will tell me I am wrong in my interpretation because, any creature that believes and spreads such filth is lower than the lowest form of life on the planet unworthy of anything but disgust and rejection.

Please tell me I misunderstood your post.

Also, are you a real sergeant or just one of those low-life trolls who try to hide their swill behind a specious claim of having served the country?

My sincere apologies if I misunderstood your post. If however, I did not misunderstand it; you are correct about one thing – you know nothing but, I know evil when I see it.

Well, Norman, Rather than do the “Olbermann sputter” routine on me; help me out, if I’m indeed reading it wrong and clarify what he’s saying. I in fact, requested clarification in the event I misread “sgt’s” post.

To wit; I interpreted it as him saying, however obtusely “we” that is, either our government (of course by this, the “Truthers” mean Bush and Cheney), We the People or both cooperated in the grotesque murders of 9-11 and that they were not committed by medieval monsters and their running dogs (may they rot in a the deepest pits of hell).

I stand by my estimation though of the vulgar, low nature of 9-11 “truthers,” though.

Also, I apologized in advance if I was indeed reading the post wrong.

G-d bless your cousin Debbie, and you too for all your work. Why didn’t you participate in the anti-mosque rally today? You should have been the guest of honor, you have been doing more to reveal these jihadists in our midst than anyone else. I never heard of anyone covering these people before 9/11 other than you. I hope you’ll participate next time!

While at the Healing Fields in Tempe, AZ today, my family and I walked through the flags, reading the cards for every victim. We read many names and their descriptions. Then I reminded my 2 kids after every flag that that innocent American was killed by an Islamic terrorist. I said it out loud hundreds of times today. People stopped and stared at me but it is true so why not say it outloud? My children know the truth.

The strategic path to ending the war against Islamo-Fascism is the elimination of petroleum as the prime mover of our transportation system. Without money, they can’t buy the U.S. government. Without money, they can’t send Jihadis to flight school or any other American school. Without money, they can’t build nuclear reactors or nuclear weapons. Without money, they can’t build an Islamic Community Center at Ground Zero.

Without petro-dollars going to Muslims, Debbie would have to find a REAL job, but I’m willing to bet she’d be happy because she could find a real job ever more quicker than the other “counter-Jihad” clods running around.

Islam was not a problem for America until the Saudis got rich by forming a petroleum cartel (illegal under U.S. anti-trust laws) of nations hostile to the United States. The strategic path to ending the war against Islamo-Fascism is the elimination of petroleum as the prime mover of our transportation system.

There is NO Santa Claus on September 12, 2010 at 1:47 am

“The strategic path to ending the war against Islamo-Fascism is the elimination of petroleum as the prime mover of our transportation system.”

I couldn’t agree more. All the demonstrations and rallies are a nice (and important) gesture but eliminating petroleum demands real pain and sacrifice. Sacrifice – like that of the “greatest generation” and that exhibited by our ancestors who left abusive and tyrannical governments in Europe with the clothes on their backs. What would they say to us – a bunch of spoiled losers who can’t fathom giving up their wheels to secure a future for their grandchildren?
This has nothing to do with “green” or saving the planet from CO2. It’s about saving the planet from a death cult from hell.

    WIde11 on September 13, 2010 at 11:22 am

Unfortunately, lots of products use petroleum, including plastics. But of course, we can certainly reduce Islam’s ability to export violence by decreasing its profits.

Everything began to fall apart when Western governments did not defend Middle-East-based oil wells from nationalization. The tip-point was when the US did not seize the Saudi oil wells in response to the geometric increase in oil prices following the Yom Kippur War (1973).

Happy new year again Debbie ,I wish all the Americans know and remember the dance and parties of happeness of the palestinians at the same moment in september 11,2001.
Unforetionatlly you are the only American who is doing so.
I respected president George Bush ( I am the only muslim who still respect him and wish to see him )because if I am in his position I will defend my kids with my soul and never forget or forgive any person hurt them all my life.
But I beleive that the Americans are the most forgevin , foegetting and peacefull people in the world.
If this terrorism happened in any Arabic country and they have nuclear weapon ,they will use it.
Remember that the Iraqi journalist who threw his shoes ,he stated that he was tortued by the Iraqi security while the Americans prevented them.

It is very important to write in your great way to clear that some Jews are killed in that terrorist attack because the majority of the Arabs beleive that 300 Jews unattended their jobs in that day because they warned by the Mosad ,and that no Arabic has the cabability to do it , and so it was done by ???

me on September 12, 2010 at 2:37 am

Real Simple: America can stop crying over “understanding” Islam. It is a MEN’S CLUB. Nothing more complicated. If viewed just like that, nothing about Islam; how they react, and what they do will ever surprise you. Add the fact that these are “men” who hit and hurt women, and you will never be surprised by how they act as cowards. Yes, Islam is a fertility cult; where the religion’s highest reward is women after death, and highest goal on earth is the subjugation of women by all means necessary. THAT is why all those screaming fanatical crowds of mostly MEN take to the streets any time anything hints at threatening this institutionalised control of women, which is fully bestowed by Islam on every man in countless Muslim countries, not one of which any sane American would wish to live in for even one day. Oh, and the reason Muslim women keep going along with it, besides fear and brainwashing, is that the only thing Muslim women (would) value as much as their actual freedom….is Islam’s 100% permission to HATE, mostly Israel.
Finally; America must completely change how we define “religions”, as the Germans did with the Scientologists. Knowing how brutal Islam is every single day to all women, Christians, and Jews, how are they any more a “religion” deserving any recognition than the Aztecs or Mayans? Would we let the Aztecs build a temple in New York, so they could cut out a few more hearts while practicing THEIR religion???

Your cousin Jon was brave, and heroes like him should never be forgotten. Never forget – Never again… but you know pc Obamerica. Let’s not have Robert Gates call Imam Rauf and persuade him to not exploit our freedoms and disregard the sensitivities of Americans over a Muslim attack! Instead, let’s have him call burn-a-Quran-man down in FL and tell him to not exploit our freedom and to REGARD the sensitivities of Muslims.

In my book, Muslims are complicit until they fight against their F’d up “brothers” without fear of reprisal. Want to clean up your rep, Ahmed? Start sweeping up after your black-sheep relatives. Start getting in the way of all this BS. Stop sending money to the Muslim Brotherhood and start sending it to the Red Cross.

You don’t because you fear those creeps more than we do! You KNOW what they’ll do to a Muslim who turns – even slightly. You say they don’t represent you – well who DO they represent? They are a fringe group? Try counting the number of jihad attacks around the world in one week – it’ll make fakir spin!

Don’t cry to us about a building you can’t use, especially since that very building suffered damage by part of a plane on September 11th! It’s sacred ground, and I know what conquering Muslim armies do when they want to truly wipe a civilization off the map – they plant an Islamic Mosque right on top of it. Can you say Temple Mount? Stop hiding behind the ACLU and start chastising your fellow Muslims OUT LOUD AND IN THE STREETS. Then we can talk about “building bridges.”

As I say, I don’t get mad or even. I get one better. This time, it’s our turn. Let’s send our response to the muzzies with 4 nuke laden ICBMs to match the 4 planes they destroyed. One nuke for the grand mosque in mecca during the hajj, one for Ahmadummyjad, one for Kim Jong Il, but the 4th is a hard choice. So many muzzies, only one missile left. I say the 4th goes directly for Beirut because we never got to really retaliate for the 220 US Marines killed by the ragheads in ’83. Reagan was probably the greatest president in the 20th century, but his response to Beirut sucked big time.

Jarhead on September 12, 2010 at 1:20 pm

Jarhead, I hope you plan to use neutron bombs. We don’t want to contaminate the whole area, just to kill the people.

skzion on September 12, 2010 at 4:55 pm

I’m guessing you’re not a nuclear engineer. The entire point of a neutron bomb is high irradiation and low explosive yield.

As for your jarhead interlocutor; all this talk about nuking Islamic holy sites will go nowhere. We are the United States. During World War II we purposely avoided bombing Kyoto and Nara, the repositories of Japanese culture because our aim was not to destroy the Japanese culture but to destroy the Japanese militarists (Although, alas it was necessary to destroy virtually every other Japanese city. Even after Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the Japanese militarist whose fascist descendants are the American left would not surrender).

My own father was in the forces that invaded Germany and, he told me they tried very hard to avoid destroying German cultural icons such as Schloss Heidelberg and the great cathedral in Cologne (I’ve since visited both places, much to my joy).

Destroying Mecca and Medina would be unforgiveable crimes from which we would never recover. Let’s not talk such nonsense but, let’s take the fight to our enemies nevertheless.

Tom in Michigan on September 12, 2010 at 9:11 pm

Tom, you’re a good fellow. My understanding is that the radiation from a neutron bomb is very short-lived.

I disagree with you about protecting Islamic holy sites. Destroying Mecca and Medina is a wonderful idea, as it will demoralize Muslims by showing that they are the “weak horse.”

Miranda Rose Smith on September 13, 2010 at 4:17 am

skzion – looks like we have a nuclear physicist on our hands. skzion – you are most definitely correct about the neuton bomb radiation being short lived, and the neuton bomb would have been my choice for nuking Beirut. The radiation can be controlled and would never reach Israel. As for Mecca, once the radiation dissipates, we hire muzzie construction workers to build the world’s largest Cathedral and Synagogue on top of the Grand Mosque. A hot dog stand would also be nice right in front of the Cathedral.

Tom in Mich. – “I’m guessing you’re not a nuclear engineer”

The neutron bombs are made with isotopes that have very short half-lives. That means the radiation will dissipate within a few months, with the only real potential for radiation poisoning coming from underground sources, like water, or from food that was cultivated in the same ground. BTW – I studied nuclear physics and quantum mechanics in college, and one of my first jobs would have been, if I accepted the position, to teach nuclear physics to sailors who work on nuclear submarines.

Tom – I’m guessing you are not a nuclear engineer or anyone who has ever studied nuclear physics. Is my assumption correct?

Jarhead on September 13, 2010 at 12:38 pm

Jarhead, thanks for being inclusive by suggesting both a synagogue and a cathedral atop the Grand Mosque. We might want to offer Kosher hot dogs as an option at the proposed stand.

NormanF on September 12, 2010 at 2:57 pm

I, too, will never forget that day as long as I live, and I think it is criminal that the media and the politicians in this country have been so quick to crawl into bed with the Muslims. Almost as it was happening the media jumped to make excuses for the Muslims who committed this atrocity and those who openly celebrated. The (mostly liberal) politicians who want to look at all acts of terrorism before and since as isolated criminal acts are complicit in the deaths of the 3,000 Americans (may they rest in peace) who were murdered that day.

All one has to do is look at what is happening right now in Europe to know what the Muslims have planned for the United States. They are not shy about their goals; in fact, they are PROUD of the fact that they wish to take over the world. Only WE can stop them, but not if we are not strong enough to fight against them and against the people (like Obama) who seek to further their goals.

DG in GA on September 12, 2010 at 4:37 pm

Three days before the 9th anniversary of a Muslim act of war on the United States–a predominantly Christian country with clear separation of Church and State–and what is CNN doing?

1-Focusing on the pastor in Florida — with a congregation of 50 — who has gotten his message across without burning anything and has no intention of burning anything (and probably never did). He has already succeeded beyond his wildest dreams and CNN is airing proof.

2-Showing video of the ubiquitous group of able-bodied men in the Muslim world doing nothing other than burning the American flag, chanting Death to America!, and burning images of a Christian pastor – all the while urging Americans not to exercise their First Amendment rights so islamoterrorists aren’t incited.

Islamoterrorists do not need incitement and CNN is showing video proof of it.Of what significance would their burning of a US flag made in China be if CNN never aired it?

Who really owns CNN and why is there never any mention of CNN’s own role in perpetuating anti-American propaganda?

Nothing has happened (just like nobody can stop the 9-11 mosque) and the islamoterrorists are already at it.

Proving the pastor’s point in spades.

3-Explaining the 5 pillars of Islam – one of which is giving of alms.

Then why is the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in such distress? Why are infidels – the US – giving Pakistan so much aid when Muslims countries don’t even care?

Ali Veshi glosses over the “oath” which declares Islam to be the ONLY religion and all non-Muslims infidels. Islam itself designates itself as Muslim vs non-Muslims and that is not going to change no matter what non-Muslims do or say. And that is what non-propagandized people understand and why this alleged “outreach to the West” has no basis in reality.

The bridge would need to be built by those “moderate Muslims” who do not seem to exist – not a man who refuses to call HAMAS an islamoterrorist group and who uses two different titles for his book with different meanings depending on the translation.

That to commonsense folk is deception – not bridge building.

4-Hyping the man behind the mosque’s appearance on Larry King Live (no Larry)Soledad O’Brian did a fair job of controlling his baloney fluff non answers.

No wonderments as to why the man has waited until 3 days before 9-11 anniversary to speak. And no one asking why the media hadn’t demanded he speak before he left for his tour of the ME on American taxpayer money.

5-Talking to Michael Cromartie from the Ethics Public Policy Center (also a “senior adviser to the Pew Forum on Religious and Public Life” – recall the recent is barry a Muslim poll they misrepresented) who leads with the earth-shattering enlightenment that “modern Islam in American has a PR problem”. Not that CNN and MSM isn’t doing their darndest. And then he says:

The problem for modern Islam is that you’ve got a small, very small percentage of Muslims who have become violent, and have used violence to advance their cause. And they get all the publicity.

Meanwhile, all the moderates, who are the largest percentage of Muslims everywhere, don’t get the attention they should.

And whose fault is it?

And if that were true – why are “moderate Muslims” letting the “non-moderates” hijack their faith? Why aren’t the “moderate Muslims” at the very least embarrassed that a very small amount of people can speak for more than a billion Muslims? And why aren’t they doing anything about it?

If it were true – “moderate Muslims” would be more outraged than non-Muslims and yet that is not the case. Not even close.

Where are the “moderate Muslims” in the US denouncing the burning of the American flag?

Where are the “moderate Muslims” in the US saying this is America and we are allowed to burn a Bible so why not a Koran?

Where are the “moderate Muslims” in the US denouncing Islamic (Shariah) law?

And if there are close to a billion “moderate Muslims” who are not islamoterrorists, and do not believe in Shariah law, then why does it still exist?

Words do not match actions. Now or throughout history.

If the overwhelming majority of Muslims are “peaceful-loving” people and Islam is a “peaceful” religion — why is there so much hate and violence throughout the Muslim world perpetrated in the name of Islam against non-Muslims?

Why has the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan never moved passed the Stone Age?

Why are little girls still being mutilated and still being sold to pedophiles in the name of Islam?

Why are women still being treated like reproductive chattel innocent women still being stoned to death in the name of Islam?

Because a billion “moderate Muslims” can’t stop the “very small percentage of Muslims” who are islamoterrorists?

This turnip doesn’t buy it. And why should any non-Muslim believe “moderate” Islam exists when there is absolutely no evidence of it?

The truth is that Afghanistan WAS one of the most highly developed civilizations with Greek cities and under Buddhism until the 7th century. The art was spectacular and shows a highly developed civilization.

Then came the violent and barbaric invasion of Islam that destroyed it, and it has been a backwater since.

Good article because every year the mainstream media adds a little more ‘revisionism’ to the 9/11 narrative, notably to downplay the rule of the Islamic terrorists. In fact, I got a major shock when my own 15-year-old daughter told me yesterday that she had no idea the attack was carried out by Muslims. Then it dawned on me that not one of the news/documentary programmes on TV in the UK this year mentioned the religion or ethnicity of the hijackers.

On a previous anniversary of 9/11 I wrote an article about how that day’s events might have been reported by the mainstream if they used the same approach as they used to reporting terrorist attacks against Israel. Considering how the main stream media in the USA has presented stories about Islamic terrorism against the USA since 9/11 (e.g. the Fort Hood massacre, the undiebomber, the Beltway sniper killings) by trying to cover up the Islamic angle, I think it is now the case that this is not much different to how the 9/11 story would actually be presented by the main stream media in the USA today:. Here is the article:

http://edgar1981.blogspot.com/2010/09/how-911-would-be-reported-today.html

Edgar Davidson on September 13, 2010 at 9:58 am

That’s why I am all for the Quran burning. Not one Islamic organization openly came out to condemn Al Qaeda for 9/11. Remind me why we still have to show our sensitivity towards Islam while they reciprocate their tolerance towards our religion and beliefs by destroying things that are sacred to us.Its amusing how these Arabs danced and celebrated on 9/11 and then tried to convince the World that the Mossad ( meaning the Joooooooos) were responsible for the 9/11 attacks. Some of the Anti-Semites and the dumbasses of the radical Left bought into that. I guess its also the same evil Zionists who are trying to enforce the Ground Zero Mosque.

The fact they were Muslims was no co-incidence. The fact they were Arab was – they could just as easily have been Paki, Iranian, Turkic, Chechen or any other type of Muslims. In fact, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is partly Kuwaiti, partly Paki.

I didn’t get to comment on the Qur’an burning in the last thread, since there were 167 comments as I type, but I’m all for it. I follow your argument perfectly, Debbie, but I disagree w/ you that those who choose to burn Qur’ans dishonor those like you who don’t. Particularly since you are well aware of the 100s of vicious verses in the Qur’an about infidels, women, jihad, afterlife, et al. The Qur’an deserves to be burnt for content alone, even if one were to try a disingenuous exercise in dissociating it from the act of not just the 9/11 hijackers, but all the Jihadis worldwide who have carried out over 16,000 terror attacks since then.

Oh, btw, a happy new year to you!!!

Maybe it’s just me, but I saw very little in the way of 9-11 rememberances. Even my calendar acknowledged Eid, but there was no Patriot Day. There were a few news articles about it, and fewer TV stories about it.

Pastor Terry proved his point. He received 100 death threats about burning the Qur’an. Muslims worldwide were rioting in the streets like they usually do. And many Muslims were killed and injured in these many, many protests, which without any mention of a Qur’an burning, would have happened anyway.

All they needed was an excuse. Some offense real or imagined. The next will be someone will find out that guy who just ate a BLT will walk in front of a Mosque. It will be all over the internet, and more US flag burnings and Muslim against Muslim will take place.

Obama and Bush said we are not at war with Islam. If that is true, why are we fighting Muslims and Islamic terrorism? Why are Muslims at the root of major conflicts around the world these days?

What was on the video that was removed from Youtube? I would like to see that. And to the people who think stopping our dependence on petroleum is the answer, how much more do you think they will hate us once we stop buy their lifeblood. Not that I care how they feel, but there is only one way this thing will end and that is all out war. Just ask the Japanese.

Here is the Real Truth about islam:

My sister converted to becoming a muslim 14 years ago.
Her muslim (Jordanian) husband first time I met him said “Hitler, this is the greatest man that ever lived” and ranted about killing every last jew etc..
She called my mother on 9/11 (the day it happened) and was dancing in the streets of NJ with other muslims celebrating!
Hear Me know !!!! – WE CANNOT LET mUSLIMS INFILTRATE AMERICA !!!
It has already started with the brain dead Democrats and Liberals putting BHO in office. Look at the UK they are screwed already with the muslims they let in public office there.

Muslims are LIARS: Hear me now!!! – They don’t want freedom to practice their religion – They want iSLAM LAW in America..

Over my dead body holding my M16!!!!! and other 10 arms I own!
Wake the F**k up America!!!!!!!!!!

Any muslim reading this disagrees do a double check on yourself , clear your mind and think about what you have thought about in the past regarding Terrorism, Islam, Americans, etc.. and you know this is 10000% correct or you are Lying to yourself now.

And yes I cannot find it within me to CAPITOLIZE the evil word “muslim” or “islam” ….

Sorry Debbie I had to say something.

The TRUTH about Muslims/Islam on September 15, 2010 at 8:50 am

I don’t know if I agree here of who 9/11 should be focused on here. 9/11 was committed by the son of a wealthy oil tycoon name Bin Ladin and his brainwashed followers as Bin Ladin didn’t blow himself up which would have been nice but sent other Muslim men to blow themselves up.

In fact I really don’t know what the hell we are doing in Afghanistan at this point. Or Iraq. It doesn’t seem to be in order to capture Bin Ladin and kill this bastard already. And the people that work for him.

What are we in Afghanistan now for? It doesn’t seem to get Bin Ladin and capture this SOB. Nation building. Are men should come dead and with no limbs for this. Bin Ladin may not even be there. If we actually captured Bin Ladin and put him to death like he deserves and maybe put pig skin in his casket that may accomplish something. But that isn’t what we are doing.
