Frankly, the Shiia v. Sunni argument fails. Muslims will always rally against Christians, Jews, and Americans regardless of their sect, with the sole exception of the Ahmadiyya. The reason this woman is professing the Mosque de Triumphant be moved is because the division in the Muslim community, as played in the press, serves Islam either way. Every foreign Muslim website states without ambiguity that this is a trophy and symbol of Islamic conquest of America. They disagree on whether it is wise.

P: Actually, my argument on Shi’ites versus Sunnis didn’t fail. You are uninformed. There are many ongoing feuds on U.S. soil between these two groups of feuding Muslims. You clearly are unaware of the many times Shi’ites and Sunnis have fought in America, including in the Detroit area–involving arson, vandalism, and even beatings and murders. I’ve repeatedly noted it on this site. Yes, as I’ve written many times on my site (did you forget), Shi’ites and Sunnis band together against Christians, Jews, non-Muslims. But not in this case. Her opposition to the mosque is NOT about “whether it is wise.” It’s about PR and Shi’ite supremacy. And FYI, Ahmadiyyas are no different. Your attempted distinction is incorrect and, as you put it, “fails.” Sorry, but if this was a Shi’ite mosque, this woman might have a different response (though she still wants to win the Miss Universe and will carefully parse words–but won’t dare denounce Hezbollah or condemn HAMAS–to get there, and none of the mainstream OR CONSERVATIVE media will dare aske her to). Yessir, while Russia is helping Iran get its nuclear reactor, and Muslims are entering this country in droves, legally and illegally, we are supposedly making headway because the mosque will probably be moved. Miss Hezbollah USA has probably been told that this issue needs to be defused before it spreads into more generalized hostility against more significant muslim encroachments into our country.

yoah’s comment is really too dumb to waste time responding to substantively. And I guess, looking at comments for the most recent posts, the muslims are changing tactics. They are pretending to be level-headed and courteous, rather than the usual obscene rantings and threats, and are getting a few of their ilk who can use the English language on better than an “F” level (but not much better) to write their comments. Note on yoah’s post, the last sentence is missing an article. It just says ‘house divided can not stand” instead of “a house divided cannot stand”. The omission of the article is a giveaway.

Al, Arabs use indefinite articles when speaking English. It’s those from further East who do not.

MK: Many people (including, but not limited to, Arabs), whose first or primary language is not English, use indefinite articles when speaking English. But there are also many Arabs who speak English correctly. So using indefinite articles is not indicative of whether the commenter is an Arab or not. DS

Yes, it’s very likely that Trump and his publicity team have been pulling strings for Miss Hezbollah USA Rima Fakih. And it’s also true that the judges in this contest follow “political correctness” (i.e., Leftist politics) in this rigged “contest.” However, much as they might like to give the prize to Fakih (and they would have given it to Miss Iran, if one existed), they have another political controversey that they’d like to make a “statement” about. And that is about immigration. And the best way to make that statement is by giving the prize to Miss Mexico Ximena Navarrete. And who knows, there may even be some serious drug cartel money backing Navarrete that trumps Trump’s payoffs.

Some Americans (including some conservatives)so badly want to believe that moderate mulsims want to assimilate to American life and be just good neighbors – as previous generations of ethnic/minority immigrants have done. I’m sorry that I didn’t go to the demonstration in downtown New York City yesterday, because I was under the weather all weekend long, (I happen to live in the NYC area to all of the posters here), if I felt very healty, I would more likely go there to demonstrate against this mosque. I forgot to mention in my last post, this discussion about the mosques has NOTHING to do with islam, it has to do with the “LOCATION”, if they want to build a mosque, they can build somewhere else in New York, and last I checked, there are about 100 mosque across the borough of Manhattan (New York County). As I said, it’s about the location, where millions of our fellow american citizens were killed by these subhuman radical islamofascist in filthy night-shirts. And those who are for this mosque are gullible than I can imagine, and speaking of which, I was the NY Post’s website not too long ago and one poster from that site wrote that the morons who support this mosque are from radical far left wing groups who are being paid off by Goerge Soros!
