Israeli Planes Land in S. Arabia to Attack Iran: No, There’s No Thaw of Islamic World Hatred for Jews, Israel

By Debbie Schlussel

There are reports throughout the Islamic world that Israel Defense Forces (IDF) planes landed in Saudi Arabia and unloaded equipment in possible preparation for attack on Iran and its nuclear weapons.  (Read the full details at The JIDF.)

idfplanesaudiflag

ahmadinejadupsidedown

Assuming the reports are true (and they may not be), that’s great, because it shows the world is finally ready to allow the Jews to do the job the rest of the world won’t do–destroy Iran’s nuclear doomsday ambitions and capabilities.  Yes, even the Saudis–through their actions with this–are proving they cannot do the job, but need the Jews to do their dirty work.

But don’t believe the hype that this means any sort of thaw of Islamic world hatred for the Jews and Israel.  It means no such thing. It’s merely a confirmation of what is well-known to anyone who knows anything about the machinations of the Middle East and the ancient rift in Islam.  Sunni Arabs–the Saudis and many other Arab nations–hate Shi’ite Muslims so badly that they are even willing to temporarily, briefly “infect” themselves with Jewish Israeli presence to defeat the Shi’ites.  And as we all know, the Shi’ite world is run and funded from Tehran–whether it’s the Iraqi Sh’ites “free elections” installed–all of whom take their directions from Iran’s ayatollahs, or whether it’s Hezbollah running Lebanon and the Assads in Syria–all of whom get their orders from Iran.  I’ve read plenty of fatwahs over the years from some of the top Sunni clerics, stating that even the animal slaughter for food “by the People of the Book” (the Jews) is far more acceptable to the halal slaughter of Shi’ites.  This isn’t about any sort of warming up to Israel or the Jews–whom they continue to hate just as deeply as ever before.  It’s about defeating the burgeoning and succeeding Shi’ite Revolution.

Yes, they hate the Jews and always will, but the Saudi royals want to keep their luxe lifestyles, palaces, and Swiss chalets.  And they won’t be able to, if Iran takes over.  That’s what the IDF planes landing there is all about.  Nothing more.  It’s no great revolutionary Middle East peace initiatve.  Not even close.

And, yes, often Sunnis and Shi’ite work together against Israel, America, Christians, and Jews–as with Al-Qaeda and Hezbollah working together in various terrorist attacks against the U.S. and Israel and as with the Sunni and Shi’ite nations all voting against the U.S. and Israel in the United Nations. But, at the heart of it all, they don’t trust each other and often employ us and Israel in their civil battles and clashes between uncivilizations. That’s what this is, with the Israeli planes. But it’s in Israel’s and the West’s best interest, so they’re taking advantage of it.

In fact, we don’t know what kind of quid pro quo Israel was forced to make to the Saudis behind the scenes in exchange for this . . . like giving the Palestinians a State, forcing more Jews to leave their homes in Israel and turn them over to the Palestinians, or who knows what?

So, don’t take the reports of IDF planes in Saudi Arabia to mean anything monumental, anything extraordinary.  It’s simply a matter of Sunnis employing the Jews to save their asses from the Shi’ites because they can’t do it themselves.

And in that all of us who take pride in the West should take great satisfaction.  Take pride that when it comes down to it, they can’t rely on their fictional allah, but instead must rely on the evil JOOOOOS.

But there is no peace here.  Not a chance.

Hey, Muslims, Israelhu Akbar.

Hope the Israelis are successful and return safely. About time somebody did something. Hard to believe it’s happening like this. Wow.

PS This only means that S. Arabia is AFRAID of a nuclear Iran, too.

Read nothing more into it, please.

I hope the Israeli’s are smart enough to get in, destroy the nuclear weapons site or facility and then get out. Then sit back and let the Muslims, I don’t particularly care which brand of Muslim, destroy each other. It would be a perfect end to the Islamic Fascists that are currently running Iran.

    Kenny!

We New Testament Christians know from the Book that muzzies do in fact kill of each other (prophecy). I think 7/8 die leaving a remnant to testify of God’s power!

    I can’t wait!

Care to give the reference, As? The Bible doesn’t speak of Moslems since they weren’t invented yet. Prophecy says that the Anti-christ will come to the “Beautiful Land,” meaning Israel, and make peace for a while but will fall then the Forces of Evil, Gog U’Magog will come down from the North and invade us leading to the Battle of Armageddon. Then Moshiach Ben David comes to save us. Doesn’t matter if we disagree on who that is right now. Since you call yourself an NT Christian it’s in Revelation (no “s” on that) and for us OT People, it’s in Daniel and Ezekiel among others. Since you do love Israel, why aren’t you a Full Gospel Christian? It would increase your understanding a whole lot more. Thanks for your support.

MK: A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.

        Here are my references: Zechariah 12 – 14; Isa 13.1; Ezek 38-39; Rev 19.

Who do YOU think the “enemies of God” are? I think muzzies are the enemies of Israel and therefore the enemies of God.

You know nothing of Prophecy and nothing of me. Let’s hope you are not an example of a Full Gospel Christian… because you don’t know the basics. I know my Bible and Prophecy better than any other of my studies.

          Study this:

          http://www.deliverance.cc/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/armeggedon.ppt

Pay close attention to Ezek 39.1-6 where it says 1/6 will be spared (or 5/6 will die). It’s called a “sixth”. I just hope it’s not too complicated for you.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 23, 2010 at 4:38 pm

I’m a Jew and I simply asked a question. Nice ad hominem on a Jew whom you claim to love. I most certainly DO know prophecy. I just have a bit of a different take on it from you. I certainly don’t believe a lot of Revelation although John did borrow from those OT sources you mentionand others that didn’t make it into the canon. I didn’t attack you, why did you attack me? The people I know who refer to themselves as NT Christians are the Nazarenes and others who do not study prophecy and much of the OT except perhaps to get some background and then promptly reject it as no longer relevant. That is why I sensed a dissonance in how you describe yourself and what you profess to believe.

I agree, that among others, Muslims are the enemies of G-d. I was asking for the specific quote so others could read it.

What bothers me is why do the Isrealis have to do what WE should be doing ???

The US has all of the forces that it needs in the region, and should have done this long ago. I think the only reason we haven’t is due to “World opinion”–especially the Europeans.

The “World Opinion” is against Isreal anyway, so what do they have to lose by attacking the Iranian nuclear sites??

So they will fly jets we sold them piloted my pilots that we helped trained, and drop bombs that we gave them and then we will probably stand with the Europeans and publicly berate the mean ole Jews, but privately thanking them for taking care of a problem that we don’t have the guts to.

jimmyPx on June 23, 2010 at 12:52 pm

Because your president is probably going to accept Iran’s offer of help to “fix” the renegade oil well. Can’t call it a spill. It’s not. It’s unabated. A spill is finite. I’m not expecting thanks from the US and I don’t want them. If this is true, and I really don’t think it should be published at this point (not everything that is legal is profitable) we are doing it because it’s the right thing to do to protect ourselves. Iran has no way to nuke you but we’re only a few hundred kilometers and probably in reach. They have more subtle plans in store for you.

First, I have “heard” that it’s too late to stop Iran. I hope it is not true.

Second, Iran plans on using long range missles to hit Jerusalem, London, New York and other places.

I just want you “clear” on this point.

American Special Forces are in fact involved, unconfirmed of course.

Israelis have moved equiment to Azerbaijan where American Special Forces are “concentrated”.

Wasn’t there a seven day war back in the 60s?

God stepped in to “speed it up” 🙂

The ultimate occurs when the muzzies kill each other off at the “end”, and that’s God’s plan.

I like the way He thinks.

I just read about U.S. and Israeli warships, including aircraft carriers, that are heading from the Med. to the Red Sea. The U.S. Navy should continue south and wipe out the muslim pirates aroung somalia. After wasting these ragheads, they should continue to through the Arabian Sea and park off the coast of Iran. We don’t need saudi arabia (or the turks) to help us with that.

I saw the story this morning, and I don’t believe it (But I hope it is true). The same source states American naval ships have been going through the Suez Canal and there is a buildup of American troops in Azerbaijan.

Does anyone really think that Obama is going to start a war on a third front?

On the other hand, I am now thinking this whole thing with General McChrystal may be a ruse. I remember back in the early 1980s, right after the Marine Barracks in Lebanon was blown up there was a big national security meeting at the White House. The news reported, and everyone thought, they were discussing what happened in Lebanon. They were actually going over the plans for the invasion of Grenada which I believe happened the next day. Perhaps McChrystal coming to DC may be for something else, like an attack on Iran.

I_AM_ME on June 23, 2010 at 1:20 pm

    Hey, I am said:

“Perhaps McChrystal coming to DC may be for something else, like an attack on Iran.”

I think I will say it as it is today: Obama doesn’t have the balls to attack Iran, nor the principles. He’s a girly man on dope.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 23, 2010 at 4:53 pm

      Gentlemen!!!
The last time the USA was run by the President, was during Ab.Lincoln tenure. Since then & particularly 2day, presidents are like the queen of england, much fuss but no substance.
Obama is in no position 2 decide on those issues, Israel is indeed receiving anual aid from the USA but never in cash, as Egypt does, Israel must spent that aid by purchasing US made foods, & it indeed does so. this week the head of China’s military visited Israel for 4 days, ask yourselves: what is the real need/reason 4 such a visit 2 a tiny & insignificant country…Admiral MacMullen visited Israel 4 times in 2011, WHY??? Is there ‘something’ about Israeli women that attracts these 2 chiefs over?? Remenber 2 vital issues! I srael is very flexible & when the USA tells it not to sell advanced technology to 3rd world countries, Israel listens to the U.S.
but…when it comes to real matters of life & death, Israel will NEVER put, request, US soldiers in harmsway. Israeli soldiers will do the job the best way possible. 1) Masada will never fall again. 2( the Holocaust will NEVER happen again. If these 2 issues are 2 be adhered to. Israel will cut the head of the snake beore it attacks it & other world locations….

BK on June 23, 2010 at 1:40 pm

It’s true, about 10 US warships – including the USS Truman – together with at least one Israeli and one German ship traversed the Suez Canal a few days ago under Egyptian security. The US insists it’s “nothing special”, just the usual rotation. Iran, according to some reports, is strengthening its forces on both its Iraqi and northwest frontiers.

I, for one, have my doubts that the US has the stones to confront Iran militarily. We’ve had several such buildups in the last year or so, with nothing happening as a result. It’s like the US is playing poker (bluff, then fold) while Iran is playing chess (victory being the objective, all its moves are intended to support that objective). As Gandalf said in ROTK, “The board is set; the pieces are moving.”

I’d more readily envisage Israel operating from a close-in non-Arab state like Azerbaijan than from Saudi Arabia. It’s a given SA will never admit to such self-interested cooperation, and they will be first to condemn Israel’s aggression and “war against Islam” after the dust has settled.

The irony though is that Israel has more in common with Iran than with the Arab states that fear a Shiite bomb. Most of those states are artificial, while Israel and Iran reflect two ancient cultures with a long history, albeit with its ups and downs (mostly since Islam was imposed there). There’s less popular hostility toward the US and Israel in Iran, more desire for a secular democracy there, than anywhere else in the region. But for the time being, the mullahs, the IRGC and Basji and the Arab mercenaries, are in full control. Democracy remains a long way off, while the existential threat posed by Iran is very real.

Full disclosure: I visited Iran (from Jerusalem!) in 1976, even joining my hosts at the Israeli embassy for a party marking Sukkot. The PLO now controls that building.

Agreed. Its an alliance of convenience against a common enemy, like the Soviets and the US had during World War II. It didn’t change the antipathy between them in the least and that resumed in full force when the war was over.

I’m not expecting peace, love and brotherhood to break out between Israel and the Saudis if Iran is ever defanged. And Israel is the one going to be blamed if that happens.

Count on it.

NormanF on June 23, 2010 at 2:15 pm

I think that this report only leave room for two possible outcomes.

1) Israel is, in fact preparing a strike against Iran in the very near future, or

2) Iran is using propaganda to gain support for a strike against Israel (which seems more likely to me with their “aid” ship en route to Gaza).

Either way, I hope that Israel’s actions will be swift and brutal, which they can probably do more effectively without input from B.O.

peter on June 23, 2010 at 2:47 pm

I think something is afoot. You don’t expect Israel and the US to tip off Iran to their plans, do you? Something will happen and we’re just not sure yet what its going to be. Only US and Israeli leaders know and whatever it is, its a well-kept secret.

NormanF on June 23, 2010 at 2:54 pm

This report (like so many before it of an imminent Israeli attack) does not pass the smell test. Where is the secrecy and element of surprise? You folks have been watching too many Raid on Entebbe films.

Canard on June 23, 2010 at 4:29 pm

    Canard!

You have a good point. WHY would they broadcast an attack?

By now, postering is pointless. In fact, I have MY doubts that any attack will work. Iran has scattered the labs that are buried undergroud in anticipation of attack. A smart lunatic, like a muzzie, would have 2 or 3 labs doing the same work and buried at several locations in case one of the steps in the nuclear process is hit, there’s a back up.

I am just saying… Muzzies do evil day and night – cooking up way to kill the Saturday People first, and the Sunday People second.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 23, 2010 at 5:58 pm

In light of your comments and the several preceding it, I wonder if the targets are limited to the nuke sites or something more. I won’t say too much but from where I sit, I believe something is afoot.

How about level the entire country and turn it into a huge self-serve oil plaza!

There was a 6 day war back in the 60’s. I remember the Israeli Commander being 1- mean-looking” dude with a patch over his eye. Needless to say, the Jews kicked some serious Arab-ass.

By the way, the Jews recaptured Jerusalem during this war, thus, fulfilling an old prophesy.

It’s right here. I don’t want to try to spell his name, but I think it’s Defense Minister Moshe Dayan to whom you refer.

There are no further prophecies that must come to pass before Jesus returns. I think that’s the reason this excites me so. I felt very insulted by a poster above who accused me of NOT being a full gospel Christian and being wrong on prophecy. I have studied prophecy more than any other subject in my life.

But, if you know your book, God will cause derision and confusion where the enemies of Israel and God will turn on each other, killiing 5/6. In Ezekial 39.2-6 a “sixth” survives. That means 83% of those coming upon Israel will die trying 🙂 17% will be left to live to tell.

The blood will flow to the bridle of the horse. God is so accurate that this absolutely must come to pass. The 144,000 are Jewish Billy Grahams! It will be so exciting for us. See you in the air, pretrib.

Right, because all of the American Christians are “special” and dont have to endure the persecution of the saints that is happening, even now, all around the world… we will all be “whisked away” in a “secret first-second coming” of Christ.

Final trumpet means final trumpet, and even a simple reading of Mathew 24 will reveal this…but instead, pre-trib Christians have it “figured out” and will continue to parrot the big money maker of the pre-trib rapture doctrine spouted by many charlatan leaders of the sleepy Laodicean church in america.

Not many wise and prudent my friend, not many wise and prudent…and before you declare your desire to take anyone “to the mat” I would first humble myself and ask the Holy Spirit for discernement… to understand the difference maybe, between tribulation and Gods wrath…which we will indeed be protected from. As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 24, 2010 at 6:44 pm

Ok… I will outline it for you since it seems you dont have a Bible handy:

“Yet hath he not root in himself, but endureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.”
          -Matthew 13:21

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?”
          -Romans 8:35

“Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

          -2 Corinthians 1:4

“I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

          -Revelation 1:9

And I exhort you to read this part very carefully:

“Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”
          -Matthew 24: 29-31

And… “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains:

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.”
          -Matthew 24:15-22

And notice how Paul again says “last trump”… “Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.”

          -1 Corinthians 15:51-54

The fact is my friend, if you ready the entire message of the bible as a WHOLE, and dont “pick and choose” what portions may fit your own personal beliefs about a theory not even mentioned in the bible, and surely not mentioned by the Church leaders prior to 1830… you will start to see how dangerous this deception is to believers.

Against my better judgment, I will respond (I keep Dakes at my desk at work – learn what that means).

          1. Matthew 13:21 refers to “backsliding”.

          2. Romans 8:35 asks “what will keep you from loving Christ” (interfere with your walk)?

          3. 2 Corinthians 1:4 explains five reasons why Christ gave Himself.

          4. Revelation 1:9 “tribulation” refers to persecution of Christians in John’s day (used 5 times in Revelation 4 times referring to persecution and 1 time referring to the great tribulation to come). Context.

          5. Matthew 24: 29-31 describes the manner and time of the second coming after tribulation but does not validate your position.

          6. Matthew 24:15-22 describes the abomination of desolation and the defeat of Israel by the Antichrist (survivors flee to Petra). mk if you’re reading, you must flee to Petra.

          7. 1 Corinthians 15:51-54 Rapture sequence: death in Christ shall rise first, then those who are alive in Christ (same as 1 Thess 4.16)

You’re all over the map unable to disprove my explanations of prophecy. In fact, mk said I was “correct”. I don’t know how you figure I don’t have my Bible handy since I have my Prophecy Bible at all times (John Hagee); and my Dake’s King James (several copies); and others. I have 5 or 6 Bibles that are falling apart. Those who have Bibles falling apart have lifes that are not falling apart.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 25, 2010 at 4:34 pm

Brother, if you cant spot a charlatan like John Hagee, then I guess believing the rapture lie is the least of your problems. You can keep with the pissing contest, but throwing non-contextual scripture at someone to justify a haughty spirit already speaks volumes…

2 Peter 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Peter on June 25, 2010 at 9:16 pm

Yes, you got it right, Moshe Dayan but he was also the one who persuaded Eshkol, the PM, to give the Arabs the Temple Mount. He was a godless, secular leftist whose parents were bolsheviks. He lived on a very left leaning Zionist kibbutz. He thought giving it to Muslim “care’ would appease them and make Jerusalem an international city which the Left always thought it should be as the seat of “Three World Religions.” If you haven’t read Herman Wouk’s “The Hope,” I highly recommend it for some eye opening history of the early days of Zionism.

      As goes Israel,
Look I did not accuse you of being anything. I ASKED why you don’t identify as such and have covered this in another reply.

But isn’t it a contradiction to say “nothing more has to happen before Jesus Christ returns” and then discuss Armageddon? Where is the antichrist? Where is the period of peace prior to the invasion from the North and his downfall? Have we fought Armageddon? For that matter, since you are a pre-trib guy, why if JC is coming haven’t you been taken up to Heaven so as to return with him as the Church Triumphant?

      mk750 on June 24, 2010 at 5:18 am

mk posted (yes, I am tiring)

But isn’t it a contradiction to say “nothing more has to happen before Jesus Christ returns” and then discuss Armageddon?

        ANSWER: NO.

        Where is the antichrist?

ANSWER: WAITING TO TAKE THE WORLD STAGE, COMING OUT OF THE EUROPEAN UNION (I think Germany).

Where is the period of peace prior to the invasion from the North and his downfall?

ANSWER: THE MAN OF PEACE WILL MAKE A COVENANT FOR 7 YRS AND BREAK IT IN 3.5. THE FIRST 3.5 YRS ARE THE TRIBULATION; THEN THERE’S A SILENCE IN HEAVEN (MAKES ME WONDER IF WOMEN ARE THERE – KIDDING), THEN THE GREAT TRIBULATION.

        Have we fought Armageddon?

ANSWER: HAS THE BLOOD FLOWED TO THE BRIDLE OF THE HORSE? NO. MORE INFO ON 1/6: a SIXTH PART OF MEN UNDER THE aNTICHRIST BEING SPARED MEANS ABOUT 166,667 ESCAPE DESTRUCTION AND 833,333 BEING DESTROYED OUT OF EVERY MILLION. WE HAVE NO WAY OF TELLING HOW MANY MILLION OF MEN WILL BE IN THE VAST AARMIES OF THE NATIONS, BUT THERE WILL BE MANY TO FULFILL EXEKIEL 38.2 AND REV 14.20.

For that matter, since you are a pre-trib guy, why if JC is coming haven’t you been taken up to Heaven so as to return with him as the Church Triumphant?

ANSWER: FIRST, HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST NOT “JC” (ISA 53 DESCRIBES HIM WELL), AND HIS NEW NAME IN THE BOOK OF REVELATION IS “REVEALER OF SECRETS” BECAUSE HE WILL REVEAL THE SECRETS OF MANKIND. ONCE THE CHURCH IS SNATCHED AWAY (THIS IS RAPTOS AS IN “RAPTURE READY RADIO”), TRIBUTION BEGINS AND ALL RESTRAINT IS WITHDRAWN. CURRENTLY, WE ARE SEEING THE FORESHADOW.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 24, 2010 at 12:19 pm

I don’t know whether this is true or not, and I certainly agree with you that if the Saudis are helping Israel they’ll expect something in return, and it will be something that will weaken Israel.

I agree with Jimmy Px’s comment. This is something we should be doing, and we shouldn’t be placing Israel in the position where, if true, it has to make concessions to the lesser evil to go after the greater evil.

So, if true, the US will get what it presumably wants, a weakened Iran and a weakened Israel. (I don’t think Obama and the elite are at the point quite yet where they actually support Iran, but they’re getting there).

Little Al on June 23, 2010 at 8:00 pm

Since everything that I wanted to say has already been said here by others, I will pickup where Little Al left off.

Assuming that the reports are true, there must not be any Israeli concessions in return for Saudi Arabia allowing Israel do something that either Israel and/or the U.S. should be doing anyway.

JeffE on June 23, 2010 at 8:28 pm

Sorry to say, ain’t gonna happen very soon. Reason: Just short time ago U.N. passed new sanctions on Iran. Our “enemies” at the UN won’t stand for an attack on Iran. They will say we didn’t give this 2nd round of sanctions long enough, maybe when we get to round 12 they might? go along with it.

Sal on June 23, 2010 at 8:33 pm

Sal, have UN sanctions ever stopped evil governments from doing what they want? Who’s going to stop Iran if not the forces of good, meaning us?

    mk750 on June 24, 2010 at 5:40 am

I HOPE Israel does…what NEEDS to be done.

Iran has worn out its welcome.

And trust.

As goes Israel – so goes the World…I wouldn’t worry about what the well-endowed hottie (description, hers…not so long ago) mk750 thinks you should be…you’re both wrong.

The Book of Revelation HAS ALREADY happened. It’s primary prophesy has ALREADY been fulfilled…and now we await the secondary sense to be fulfilled.

That isn’t going to happen in a few days! You can still drive your car!! You WON’T be raptured out of it!!!

You’re interpretation is far too literal.

Three angels just flew over my head wringing their hands…when I read your words out loud…

The Canadien on June 23, 2010 at 9:48 pm

When did I ever self describe as a “well endowed hottie?” If I said anything even remotely like that it was a joke. I’m a 64 year old grandma so if it’s true, good on me. Ha!
Canadien, if you believe as a Christian that Revelation has happened, you are blind. Where’s World peace? Where’s the Third Temple? Where’s Jesus reigning from Jerusalem as the Messiah, Why aren’t you coming here every Sukkot to offer sacrifice ala Zech. 14? That is the most illogical argument from Christendom there is. Since I am a Jew, I will let you and As argue the rapture and literalness but I don’t see Revelation as a two parter. It was written well after Jesus died (and rose) so it has nothing to do with his original appearance. It is totally an Apocalyptic work, hence it’s alternate title, “The Apocalypse.” It talks about what was currently happening to the Church as a whole and using those incidents as metaphor for what was to come. Prophecy is not a one time occurrence. It repeats itself. Daniel’s Statue describes that.

As Goes Israel is right about the events s/he describes. A huge multinational force is coming from the North and East to destroy Israel but it will be stopped on the Heights by G-d himself.
You’re probably right about the Rapture because we see it as inherently anti-Semitic. They don’t realize it but they are calling us the enemies of G-d too, being left behind to perish or at very least suffer horrible tribulation to “help” us see the truth. They don’t realize “choosing” Jesus is a “work.” It’s not simply knowing that G-d is sovereign and will save those who are His own. It’s not faith at all. I’ve heard many many testimonies of Christians saying they had no idea of G-d before they found Jesus. Jews always know there is G-d. Unfortunately not all choose to serve him, but we know.

    mk750 on June 24, 2010 at 5:38 am

    Canadien!

The Book of Revelation HAS ALREADY happened.

ANSWER: HAS THE BLOOD FLOWED AT MEGIDDO TO THE BRIDLE OF THE HORSE? I MUST HAVE MISSED THAT.

It’s primary prophesy has ALREADY been fulfilled…and now we await the secondary sense to be fulfilled.

ANSWER: “PRIMARY PROHPHESY”? You don’t realize how precise God is. All things must come to pass, not the “primary” as you deem fill that descriptor. An example of the preciseness of God: East Germany existed with barbed wire fencing for a length of time (13 years) identical to the barbed wire fencing around the concetration camps. Katrina occured shortly after we backed evicting the Jews from their homes in Israel (left bank?). Earthquake in Detroit: do you really think there will be NO PRECUSSIONS for allowing the muzzies to take American cities?

That isn’t going to happen in a few days! You can still drive your car!! You WON’T be raptured out of it!!!

ANSWER: IT WILL HAPPEN IN THE TWINKLING OF AN EYE.

You’re interpretation is far too literal.

ANSWER: THE FIRST RULES OF PROPHECY IS TAKING IT IN ITS LITERAL, HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL SETTING. I HAVE LEARNED MUCH OF MY PROPHECY FROM STANLEY ROSENTHAL AND THAT WAS HIS FIRST RULE. I TAKE EVERY PROPHECY LITERALLY BECAUSE GOD IS A PRECISE GOD.

Three angels just flew over my head wringing their hands…when I read your words out loud…

ANSWER: AT MOST, WE HAVE ONE ANGEL. YOU DON’T NEED THREE WHEN ONE CAN GET THE JOB DONE. SO I THINK YOU ARE (AGAIN) HALLUCINATING.

As goes Israel - so goes the World on June 24, 2010 at 12:42 pm

I say the Israelis should fire in both directions. First at Iran then at Saudi Arabia. You know 2 for the price of one. I hope it happens soon!

One Irish Jew on June 24, 2010 at 12:34 am

“It’s simply a matter of Sunnis employing the Jews to save their asses from the Shi’ites because they can’t do it themselves.”

Your analysis is accurate. That being said, I don’t believe the initial report. The report is most likely fear-mongering by the Iranians. Or worse, it’s a leaked story to put diplomatic pressure on Iran.

IAF would have a far better chance of discretely crossing Jordan into an Iraqi air base controlled by the USAF. In fact, the whole diplomatic frakus between Turkey and Israel could be a cover for a military strike through Turkey. One can work this mishagos a thousand ways.

One thing is for certain, most people want Israel to deal with Iran’s nukes because the Israelis are easy to blame for everything bad that could likely result from it: Hezbollah retaliation, Iranian retaliation against Persian Gulf shipping (and the associated climb in petroleum prices), war in the Middle East etc. You get the picture.

There is NO Santa Claus on June 24, 2010 at 8:10 am

Not so sure about that, Abdullah is far less well disposed towards Israel for whatever reason than his father Hussein was. The Saudis hate the Jordanians and I don’t think the US would agree to such overt support. We recently discovered a huge pool of natural gas off the coast and it’s potential keeps growing. if Saudi is cooperating with us, chances are they have their eye on that and the oil that usually accompanies such a deposit. Once we wipe out Haman, they’ll probably suggest some sort of arrangement where they govern Israel but allow the Jews to live here semi-autonomously, after disarming us of course. Not realistic but how they think.

    mk750 on June 24, 2010 at 8:35 am

When you wake up some morning and here that Iran was attacked.
You will hear later that IDF special forces went in ahead captured a not often used highway, who in Iran. Do re-arming refueling and rescue ops from there. Probably after the attack has already begun and radars knocked out. a C130 will land there with the needed equipment. have it all setup for the re-loads.
Remember when the Americans did this in the Iran Hostage thing.
It ended badly, but that was then ,things are different now, experiences, technologies.

This is my post from nearly ten years ago on establishing forward bases of operation in Afghanistan.

How did we establish our forward base of
    operations?

For those of you who assume it was the
Marines because it was a landlock war
    stage…

Our Navy Seals were dropped in the middle
of the night for a twenty-four hour mission
which turned out to be 96 hours (4 days for
those who unfortunately attended govt school)

They operated in total silence using hand
signals, worked only in the night and
covered themselves in dirt to sleep in day.
They carried OUT their own waste so they’d
    leave nothing behind.

First sign of America??? When those helicopters
full of Marines, we were announced. I am not
going to focus on Abdul Hamid. I am betting
99.999% of the people reading this post could
NEVER measure up to this standard of EXCELLENCE
    we call AMERICAN.

LOL The world is hugely antisemitic, especially since religion pushing to become the One World Religion is muzzies. When I read those converting during the tribulation will be martyred for the cause of Christ by beheading, what other religion does that describe?

      Genesis 12.3

Now we need to get US and British Air Forces and coordinate strikes from the north, south, east and west. That would send a message not only to Iran but to the rest of the world. No more.

“Pretrib Rapture Answerman”

Why is historian Dave MacPherson called the “Pretrib Rapture
Answerman”? His bio explains why:
“Since 1968 MacPherson’s research has majored on the earliest history of the pretribulation (pretrib) rapture view which began in 1830 in Britain and which was never a part of official theology or any organized church before that year. He has produced eight published books (including his bestseller titled “The Rapture Plot”) and countless print and internet articles including “Famous Rapture Watchers,” “Pretrib Rapture Diehards,” “X-Raying Margaret,” “Edward Irving is Unnerving,” “Pretrib Rapture – Hidden Facts,” “Pretrib Rapture Secrecy,” “Pretrib Rapture Dishonesty,” and “Scholars Weigh My Research.”
“MacPherson’s research has been publicly endorsed by numerous Christian leaders including premill, amill, postmill, preterist, historicist, futurist, midtrib, prewrath, posttrib, charismatic, dominionist, reformed, orthodox, and independent leaders.
“The only leaders who haven’t yet endorsed his research are pretrib rapture leaders – and MacPherson’s writings reveal why.”

[Found the above on the net. BTW, a couple Google articles that are intriguing are “Obama Avoids Bible Verses” and “Mayor ‘Napoleon’ Bloomberg.”]
