UPDATED w/ Video: Al-Qaeda Boycotts Arizona Over Immigration Law

By Debbie Schlussel

**** SCROLL DOWN FOR UPDATE ****

With all of the hub-bub over the newly-passed Arizona immigration enforcement law, there is much talk of a boycott of Arizona, designed to hurt the state.  But unless American senior citizens, golfers, and vacationers looking for a warm, beautiful vacation destination are thinking of boycotting Arizona–and there’s no sign of that–Arizona has nothing to worry about.

cair

muslimgivingthefinger.jpg

Muslims, CAIR, Illegal Aliens’ Lawyers Upset Over Arizona Law

On the other hand, the announced boycotters and angry enemies of the Arizona law have zero bite to match their bark.  It’s a small heap of the usual suspects, the usual whiners.  And their opposition to Arizona’s law should tell you something:  that the law is hitting the correct target–Muslim illegal aliens, and illegal alien lawyers.  Essentially, Al-Qaeda and its terrorists’ lawyers are boycotting Arizona. Big whoop.

Among  Arizona’s boycotters:  CAIR–the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the unindicted co-conspirator in HAMAS terrorism.  And the American Immigration Lawyers Association, a group that makes its bread and butter on promising illegal aliens in our midst that it can help them . . . while collecting hefty legal fees. If illegal aliens are swiftly identified and deported, there’s less money for them. Um, these two groups–the enemy within and their lawyers–opposing this measure, should be a giant hint that the law hits the bulls eye.

First, there’s CAIR:

CAIR-AZ Condemns Signing of Anti-Immigrant Bill

The Arizona chapter of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR-AZ) today expressed disappointment at the signing into law of Senate Bill 1070. CAIR-AZ and other civil liberties groups say the law legitimizes suspicion based on appearance and will result in racial profiling and discrimination.

“It’s natural for the Muslim community to find this new law appalling” says CAIR-AZ Chairman Anas Hlayhel. “The Quran instructs Muslims to stand up against injustice and racism, which this bill seems to advocate. No matter what good this bill claims to bring, we see that its harm will outweigh its good. We see it as a desperate attempt to legitimize racial profiling in order to hide the failure to pass comprehensive immigration reform. It is a reminder of recent attempts to legitimize racial profiling at airports.”

Funny, I thought the Constitution, NOT the Quran, instructs Americans. But, as we know, they aren’t exactly Americans first or even last. They identify only as Muslims who happen to live here. As a religious Jewish American, I don’t cite the Torah regarding whether a particular law is good or bad. That’s ridiculous. I cite the U.S. Constitution.

And then, there are the illegal aliens’ sleazy lawyers–including the lawyers of many Islamic terrorist illegal aliens:

The American Immigration Lawyers Association notified JW Marriott in Scottsdale that it’s canceling a meeting of about 300 scheduled for later this year. George Tzamaras, an association spokesman, says, “We didn’t feel it was appropriate to have a meeting in (the) state.”

Of course, not. Less business for them in that state.

With boycotts by these groups, Arizona is batting 1,000. What’s next–Al Qaeda boycotting Arizona over the law?

Oh, wait, with CAIR in a jihad rage over it, that pretty much already happened.

**** UPDATE: Reader IAM notes this one-sided video from far-left “reporter” Bill Gallagher on FOX News’ Detroit operation, featuring ONLY opponents of the law, based in Michigan, including criminal Delano Anthony Willis, Jr. a/k/a Dawud Walid (Whatchoo Talkin’ Bout, Willis?):

I don’t know how you do it but you’re photos always seem to perfectly capture the essence of the mindset of the opposition. The most ridiculous thing I’ve heard so far today is some group or other is advocating boycotting Arizona iced tea drinks. Those drinks, which have the name of “Arizona” on them, are actually brewed in NYC. This just goes to show how little actual thought is being brought into play by the left and how it’s just another emotional issue for lefties to wail about. They’ll get over it soon enough and move on to the next issue, which of course is all being directed by the “Divider-in-Chief” in the White House. Barry has already sent his storm trooper Sharpton down to Arizona & I expect things to heat up for awhile. The one thing to watch out for is Barry attempting to sneak through some legislation that he knows the country would be opposed to but will try when our attention is being taken away by this manufactured crisis.

Debbie:

This “stars” some of your best friends there in Michigan, Dawud Walid and Elena Herrada. Ms. Herrada goes so far as to claim Arizona is engaging in ethnic cleansing – I AM NOT KIDDING!!!

What kind of dummy moves where there is NO WATER. OK… I understand the Eretz Yisrael thingy. Even though fresh water is scarce, Gd told us to go there and there was no arguing the point. Those who did regretted it.

But Arizona ain’t Eretz Yisrael and there ain’t no friggin’ WATER. Michigan sits in the middle of the largest body of fresh water in the entire world. Moving from Michigan to Arizona just doesn’t make sense; immigration law or not.

Jews moving to Arizona makes about as much sense as Jews voting for O’Bama. Oh!…. wait…. uh oh!

While reading this post I came to this conclusion: with all the usual asshats that are boycotting Arizona it would be a prefect time for me to visit. Arizona…my favorite state right now!

Zippy on April 28, 2010 at 1:37 pm

This will actually boost AZ’s tourism. It will even drive businesses and residents to AZ, as the business climate is already better than CA, so this gives ’em one more reason to flock there. What’s not to like?

spiffo on April 28, 2010 at 1:42 pm

Arizona just keeps looking better and better to move to if all these groups keep boycotting AZ. But I don’t think they have gone far enough. They should be able to pull hispanics over if their car is one of those stupid looking, chopped, lowriding cars or trucks with the tiny chain link steering wheel and bumper stickers in Spanish. As for the muzzies, just look for the multiple air deodorizers hanging from the rear view mirror of their taxis and cars. Pulling these people over for “Driving while hispanic or islamic” should be the standing order for law enforcement.

Jarhead on April 28, 2010 at 1:45 pm

Nice picture…..The only thing I can think of to improve it would be small hole, say about 9mm wide, right between those two fingers of his. One less terrorist for our gangster government to worry about trying in the United States!

I was thinking the very same thing Mike 😉 xxx ooo

The amazing thing to me is people are against the law but they offer no solution. I live in Arizona in a nice neighborhood in Scottsdale. My neighbor was held up at gun point and shot at twice. Phoenix is the kidnapping capitol of the country, crime is off the charts here. Our schools are so overcrowded they are cutting back everything. You can not go to home depot with out getting thru a mob of day workers. I wish America had the same laws as Mexico when it comes to illegals.

athena on April 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm

    Thank you Athena!

Maybe you’ll talk some sense into some of these non-thinking people who are now eager to move to Arizona just because your state passed a nice law. Let me be clear: I support that new law.

I’m just NOT moving where there ain’t no friggin’ WATER… unless it’s Israel.

All your new law says is that state and local law enforcement have to enforce federal immigration laws. The only reason LIBS are in a huff is because its an embarrassment to them. Democrats control the Congress and White House and they won’t enforce the law. The Arizona law is a slap in their face. Other than that, it merely states that Federal laws shall be enforced by state and local law enforcement agencies. What’s wrong with that?

Moving to Arizona isn’t the answer. Enforcing the law is the answer. Debbie has it right! Michigan needs a law like Arizona’s and none of these laws would be necessary if the Federal law enforcement agencies enforced the law and did their job.

Oh please!

I now plan to retire to Tempe Arizona to support Arizona and I have lots of money to spend.

Who knows? Perhaps, I will run into Lee Rodgers.

goldenmike4393 on April 28, 2010 at 2:04 pm

The really scary part to me is when they make the 20 million illegals legal. 40-60% do not have a high school education, they will all be on welfare programs. How will our Country ever pay for all this? Mexico loves sending us their poor and uneducated, they tell them where to cross the border. Did you ever see how strict Mexico is about who can live in their Country? Maybe I will move to Mexico, they have water and will have no crime…since they will all be in the US soon!!

athena on April 28, 2010 at 2:33 pm

Al-Qaeda? YOU MEAN THE CIA OPERATION CREATED BY ZBIGNIEW BRZENSKI, don’t you Debbie?!

Bob Porrazzo on April 28, 2010 at 2:40 pm

Bob Porrazzo — no, idiot, she means the murabitun organization founded by Sheikh Abd’allah Azzam.

“My fellow Muslims,
Jihad is your life, jihad is your glory. The substance of your existence is linked by fate to jihad. Fellow preachers, you have no value on this earth beyond that of you destroying the population of cruel rulers, infidels and sinners.
Those of the opinion that the religion of Allah can be victorious without a jihad, without a battle, and without dismembered bodies strewn in every direction only delude themselves. They do not understand the essence of the Islamic religion.
Indeed, veneration for religious Islamic preachers, the might of the message of Islam, and the eminence of Muslims will never be realized without a battle against the infidels. In the words of the prophet Muhammad: “Yea verily will Allah displace from the hearts of your enemies their fear of you, while in your hearts he will certainly plant faintheartedness.” And those who heard him asked: “Messenger of Allah, what is faintheartedness?” And the prophet answered: “The love of pleasures as opposed to the hatred of death and aversion to battle.” Take the initiative and lead those of this generation who have returned to their sovereign, may your hearts know no fear and yearn not for mundane pleasures. Beware lest you rely upon the luxurious table of cruel rulers [Note from PD: those rulers who refuse to recognize the absolute suzerainty of Allah and enjoin his Shari’a to the utmost — are “cruel” because anything contrary to Islam and Shari’a is fitna and “unnatural”], for they will destroy your hearts and extinguish them, separate you from the generation and drive a wedge between your hearts and theirs.”–“The Will”, by Dr. Muhammad Abdallah Azzam aka Amir Jihad (founder of Al-Qaeda)

Philip_Daniel on April 28, 2010 at 2:52 pm

Also, you damn kharajguzar, you seditious dhimmi, you mentally-challenged abd, you vile ignoramus ra’yah, “Bob”:

http://www.theirownwords.com/site/showvideo/54

“This [jihad] will continue until they all submit to the religion of Allah, yield to its laws, and surrender to its rule…Yes, we believe that the entire world must be ruled by Islam, and no grain of soil should be made an exception, because the Prophet Muhammad was sent to all people without exception. This does not mean, however, that we must fight all peoples of the world at once, in order to subject them to Islamic law. Islam did not command us to do so. Islam commanded us to fight the closest and then the next, from among the people who refuse to submit to the rule of Islam. We should move from the closest to the next, and widen the circle, until all people submit to the rule of Allah. We are now at the beginning of the road, when we try to regain the lands taken over by the infidels, from among the Jews, the Christians, their apostate supporters, and treacherous rulers.”–Al-Qaeda mujahid Abu Yahya Al-Liby, in August 2007 video We Will Continue the Jihad until All the People in the World Submit to the Rule of Islam

If the illegals from Mexico,CAIR and the anti-immigration lawyers are going to boycott Arizona,it sounds like the perfect place to live.

Please keep your promises.

As a matter of fact, can we have the Arizona law adopted by every state in the union?

ebayer on April 28, 2010 at 3:50 pm

Sad to say, the Arizona law is almost certainly doomed. If only real citizens would stand up and bitch as stridently as the various slime-slurping, scum-skimming, silt-sifting, bottom-browsing “advocates” that are gradually destroying what used to be my country!

Oh, wait . . . I’m a real citizen! It’s just that I’m too busy with earning a legal living and making ends meet to get out and raise hell.

Graty Slapchop on April 28, 2010 at 4:04 pm

This law is pissing off all the right people. Good job, Arizona! Hopefully more states will follow your lead.

Why is the media and avoiding this story? Where’s Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson when you need them? Even they aren’t going to touch this with a 10 ft pole.

I read that San Francisco and Mexico are boycotting Arizona. I say Arizona should publicly declare they are boycotting San Francisco and Mexico.

Zippy on April 28, 2010 at 6:00 pm

1) Comparing the situation in Israel with the situation in Arizona is foolish.

2) The Arizona law is a bad idea and is undoubtedly unconstitutional in one of several ways – including violating due process, equal protection, and the supremacy clause.

3) The law was not narrowly construed. Instead, it expands the government’s power. Moreover, it is an unfunded mandate and Arizona has already removed millions of dollars from education despite being in the bottom half of the nation in education.

4) The reason this is bad for conservatives: expansion of government power and lack of finances. Any expansion of government should be a bad thing for conservatives.

5) The reason this is bad for liberals: racial profiling. Liberals should otherwise be okay with the law because it forces the government into greater debt and it expands the size and power of the government.

6) If Al-Qaeda is buying things from Arizona then there is a problem anyways. Al-Qaeda should not have access to Arizona and it is a conflict of interests for Al-Qaeda to use U.S. products and the U.S. market seeing as how Al-Qaeda hates and wants to destroy the U.S.

You need to take a look at the analysis and comments at the Tenth Amendment Center for a solid discussion of Constitutionality. You might change your mind.

Julie Anne on April 29, 2010 at 1:13 am

Of course CAIR is going to be against it. It slows down their campaign to reach the tipping point. But this is only a first step. The next step is, on a national basis, taking citizenship away from anchor babies and their offspring, and making sure that anyone getting a paycheck in the US is here legally. In order to keep this law there has to be constant and increased political pressure on a national basis.

and here’s a guide for analyzing any web-site that calls itself conservative; if thlook for consistency; if the site quotes Serpenthead as a validator for the new law, it isn’t really conservative; if the site is defensive about the new law explaining that it has bad features but they are necessary, it isn’t really conservative. Saying it has bad features but…. just makes needless concessions to the liberals and shows a defensive mentality that will ultimately crack under pressure. It is a good way to recognize liberals who don’t really support the law.

Arizona will be a better state for all these nitwits boycotting it. Just like the US would have been a better country if all the libs who said they’d leave if Bush or Reagan won really had left..

Little Al on April 28, 2010 at 7:37 pm

And the next step is rounding up lawbreakers like Linda Chavez who hires illegal aliens for her personal benefit; does anyone really think these people don’t know they’re hiring illegals?

Look at what we’ve got; the Washington elite, how many of them either don’t pay their taxes or hire illegals, or both?

Little Al on April 28, 2010 at 7:43 pm

Another excellent post, Debbie. Also, thank you, I_AM_ME, for the video.

JeffE on April 28, 2010 at 7:44 pm

The only thing I can see as a negative for the new AZ laws is that these illegals will not go back to mexico. They will invade the border states to AZ. New Mexico and CA will probably be flooded with even more of these law breakers.

Jarhead on April 28, 2010 at 7:48 pm

“The Quran instructs Muslims to stand up against injustice and racism, which this bill seems to advocate.’

…YEAH, RIGHT! Muslims would NEVER be unjust or racist! Seriously, does CAIR really think that we believe their crap?

I live in Phoenix, the kidnapping capital of the US. I am also Jewish and fully support SB1070 as well as 70% of my fellow ‘Zonies. Our Governor has sent multiple letters and requests to our Dear Leader and Big Sis (our former gov) and to no avail. We had to take matters into our own hands. Our people are getting killed–not just the rancher, but a Jewish police officer recently was killed by an illegal. Tons of drugs pouring into our state. Our beautiful deserts are being trashed. See this link: http://www.borderinvasionpics.com/ to see the great numbers of people coming here and the destruction of our desert.Note the matching backpacks and water bottles-they are being uniformly outfitted for their trek over the border. This is a highly organized invasion. Where is the outcry from environmentalists? AZ is hosting over 400k illegals now (many have already left from Prop 200/the E-Verify bill that passed a few years ago). Our state is broke. We are voting to raise a 1% “temporary” sales tax to save teachers’ jobs and the welfare system. We don’t have the money to bankroll these illegals anymore. They need to leave and we need to stop them from coming in. Where is the fairness to the law abiding, tax paying legals? The MSM has portrayed AZ as a Nazi state, this is very skewed reporting. We are being inundated by out of state rabble rousers who obviously don’t work if they have time to camp out in front of our statehouse. People here are very angry about these outsiders and Sharpton butting in. Good. I hope CAIR boycotts AZ, we don’t need them here. San Francisco freaks? Good. Stay home. Worried about our water supply? Don’t be. Due to Gore-bull warming we had record rains and our drought is long over. AZ is an awesome place to live and it will be even better when this bill is enacted and enforced. /Rant off

The new Arizona law is working already. The Mexican government to punish Arizona has put a ban on its people traveling to Arizona. Exactly what they were hoping for in Arizona.

Jerry on April 29, 2010 at 8:05 am

Let’s see, Elena calls it “ethnic cleansing,” Jesse Jackson
calls it a type of “terrorism,” that CAIR dude calls it a
“bigoted law,” and MSNBC hosts call Arizona the “laughing
stock of the nation” when really their network is. Looks to
me like we’re making progress. I think we can weather this
storm just fine. I won’t miss these folks planning their
boycotts one bit.

Daniel K on April 29, 2010 at 9:38 am

Mexico’s Population Law says, “Authorities, whether federal, state or municipal … are required to demand that foreigners prove their legal presence in the country, before attending to any issues. [Article 67]” I like that a lot. But of course only Mexico has the privilege of passing and enforcing such a law, right? How uppity of Arizonans to think they are anything but a colonized extraterritoriality of Mexico and to dare pass a similar such law as though Arizona were not subject to the whim of Mexican colonists like U.S. “Congressman” Raul Grijalva! [Note: the quote marks around his title are meant the way Rush L. refers to, ahem, “the Reverend” Jesse (“Holy-Moly Shakedown”) Jackson.]

W.R.Fawn on April 29, 2010 at 10:50 am

The silly mayor of St. Paul, MN announced that none of his staff are allowed to travel for business purposes to Arizona. (FYI he is running for re-election and St. Paul has a large hispanic population.) I think everyone should boycott St. Paul.

Good for you Arizona!

Libertasha on April 29, 2010 at 12:01 pm

What are these people afraid of unless of course they are here illegally!!

There is absolutely nothing wrong with this law that has been upheld by the supreme court numerous time before. It is not racial profiling to see an ID.

These people are nothing but creative in making stuff up to justify entering the USA illegally.

Funny but all of these Politicians that pushing boycotts are themselves breaking the law. They all took an oath of office to preserve and protect the Constitution of the United States. That also includes immigration law.

By advocating a boycott they are violating their oath and are guilty of sedition.

ScottyDog on April 29, 2010 at 5:01 pm

Everyone Needs to Read The Law. There Has To Be A REASON for Law Enforcement To Stop Someone, They JUST Cant Stop Anyone!!!! For Being Hispanic, Black, White, Jewish, Muslim ECT. They have to be involved in a crime or run from the police ECT., Something Any Legal Person Would NOT DO. READ THE LAW. WE ARE PROTECTED FROM UNLAWFULL SEARCH. Running from the police is a lawfull reason to search!!!! Arizona Is Just trying to protect it’s LAW ABIDING CITIZENS! Good job, Arizona! Hopefully more states will follow your lead.

Rick Cowan on May 1, 2010 at 7:02 pm

There has only been one incident of someone being mistaken for an illegal (that wasn’t) in all of Joe Arpaio’s raids. One.
The reason all these people are protesting is because Mexico has been sponging off of our government for years, and they’re upset that we’re finally getting sick of it.
We don’t have the money or resources to babysit a bunch of ignorant peasants. These people who come here supposedly to take jobs “we don’t want” have actually created a work force that will work for less than the minimum we need to live; so anyone willing to do these menial jobs can’t do them and live a mediocre existence.
It’s not that they’re wonderful people looking for better lives, it’s that we’ve let them take over; and we’ve been accomodating them for so long, that they actually think they are entitled to the things we gave them.
Why do you suppose their government encourages them to infiltate our country? It’s not because they are proud of being here, or that they give a damn about our country. It’s because they have taken advantage of us for so long, that they think we now owe them.
The only reason that those of us who feel the way we do don’t show up and counter protest, is because ignorant people will do nothing but attack us. The mob mentality is high in extremely stupid people.
If the people protesting who are actually Americans looked at it properly, they’d realize that we are accomodating criminal activity. My ancestors didn’t sneak into the country and then refuse to assimilate. We should stop bending over backwards to accomodate criminals.
I’ve worked for law enforcement here. I’ve seen first hand and on the news, all of the crime involved with letting these people take over.
Home invasions, rapes, kidnapping, child molestation, break ins, carjacking, outright stealing of cars. Ever wonder why over 90% of the Amber alerts involve mexican kids? Because these people are not “good”.

Stacey Elack on May 2, 2010 at 12:55 pm

“In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person’s becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American….There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn’t an American at all.

We have room for but one flag, the American flag….

We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language….

And we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people.”
