Longtime readers know about Michigan Rep. Rashida Harbi Tlaib, the Palestinian Michigan legislator and liberal Democrat who was touted as the first Muslim woman elected to the Michigan House.  She’s also a rabid Israel-hater and supporter of illegal aliens, who got into office because she was hired and tirelessly promoted by her self-hating Jewish predecessor.

As an employee at Arab Muslim welfare agency, ACCESS–the Arab Community Center for Economic and Social Services, she helped illegal aliens game the system and get into  and remain on U.S. soil.  Yes, she aided and abetted illegal aliens in violating immigration laws.  Instead of being in the legislature, the licensed attorney should be behind bars.  But, instead, she was touted and lauded all over the place.  As I exposed on this site, she lied to the Detroit Free Press, claiming her grandfather was shot by the Israelis.  And the Freep reported it as truth, but was forced to amend the story when you–loyal readers–contacted the paper in droves.

Now, Tlaib’s own father has provided another reason why she should be behind bars. She’s also the first Muslim woman elected to the Michigan Legislature to commit either election or tax fraud.

Rashida Tlaib lied about her residency in sworn documents in order to run for the Michigan House of Representatives, at the same time that in sworn tax documents, she and her husband claimed a tax allowance for her Dearbornistan home–which she claimed was her primary residence and isn’t in her Southwest Detroit, largely-Mexican district.  Now, that she’s been outed, Tlaib is making up a story about how she was “separated” from her husband at the time she lied on sworn documents and calls her father crazy.  She’s gotten her brothers to circle the wagons for her on the lies.  And, of course, now the “separation from her husband” is conveniently over, now that she finally bought a home in her district in June 2009, over a year after she lied on forms claiming she live in the district.  Don’t believe her cover  story.  Tlaib lied before and she’s been caught.  In this case, she’s either committed election fraud or tax fraud.

And don’t bet on Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox prosecuting Tlaib.  Cox is an Islamo-pandering Republican candidate for Governor who continues to allow Muslim to commit Medicaid fraud in droves in Michigan (for pregnant Muslim aliens, whose kids then get citizenship and tax-funded entitlements).  I’ve told you all about him.

But anyone can file a grievance against her with the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission, where–one would hope–her fraud wouldn’t be taken as lightly.  If you are interested in filing a grievance, here is Tlaib’s bar number and membership information in the State Bar of Michigan.  And here’s how to file that grievance–a request for investigation.

If Tlaib wasn’t Muslim or an Arab, I doubt she’d get away with this. But she is, and, likely, she will. Despite the U.S. Constitution’s Establishment Clause prohibiting it, our government very much does prefer one religion over all others.

Now Tlaib’s father is piping in. He said his daughter misrepresented her residency when she signed an election affidavit in 2008 with the Wayne County Clerk claiming she was a citizen of Detroit.

According to that affidavit, Tlaib claimed she lived at 9123 Rathbone in Detroit. That house is owned in part by her father, Harbi Elabed, and he now says she did not live there and he was only recently made aware that she had claimed so. “She lied,” said Elabed, 61, an immigrant from Jerusalem [DS:  Hmm . . . she told the Free Press he was from Tel Aviv] and father of 14 who prides himself on Old World values of parental fealty. “She lied big-time to get elected. I never teach her that way. I teach her the right way. It’s my house. She didn’t live there. She lived in Dearborn in her house with her husband and boy.”

Dearborn is not a part of the 12th House District that Tlaib was elected to represent.

Residency issues are very difficult to prove. To become a candidate, you must be a “registered and qualified elector” of that district, according to state law. That means you must have your primary residence — the address on your driver’s license and where you’re registered to vote — in that district. . . .

Perjury is an offense punishable by up to five years in prison and a $1,000 fine. . . .

According to property and tax records, Tlaib lived in a house on Tireman in Dearborn that her husband purchased a decade ago. Taxes were paid on that house in 2009 with her husband claiming it as his primary residence.

But in 2008, as Tlaib was preparing for a run for the seat, she said she separated from her husband and moved into her father’s house with her two brothers.

Uh-huh. Sure, she did.
