More “Religion of Peace” “Peacefulness” on US Soil: Can’t Wear a Cross @ the Mall?!
So when do the excuses about post-traumatic stress disorder and claims he was called a “camel jockey” and was under stress start for this guy? There are already excuses coming out of a police detective, absurdly comparing him to Christians. Yes, now Christians must live in fear wearing a cross at a mall in America. This is how far we’ve fallen.
Police arrested 22-year-old Abdul Walid Hamid of Hayward on the evening of Wednesday, Nov. 4, after he reportedly tore a crucifix from a person’s neck and scared others at Stoneridge Shopping Center.
Hamid, an employee at a mall kiosk near Starbucks, has been charged with battery, terrorist threats and grand theft.
According to reports, Hamid was yelling “Allah is power” and “Islam is great” while holding a pen in a fist over his head. Witnesses said he shouted anti-Christian comments, said police.
Lt. Mike Elerick of the Pleasanton Police Department said the man was not provoked and didn’t threaten violence, but he committed robbery when he grabbed and broke a crucifix off someone’s neck.
Wait a second. A guy tears off someone’s crucifix, but he “didn’t threaten violence.” Hellooooo . . . . .? That IS violence.
“We had multiple people calling 911,” Elerick said. “One female was crouching down and hiding from him. He definitely scared quite a few people.”
Yeah, because some Americans actually do get it about Islam. And they don’t want to be in the middle of another Fort Hood.
But watch how the police lieutenant manages to use this as a moral equivalency attack on Christians:
Elerick said much of the man’s speech was similar to the loud scene of the Christian activists who frequent downtown Pleasanton. The big difference, however, was that Hamid was on private property and had physical contact with someone.
Uh, yeah, the difference is that Christians are exercising their free speech and freedom of religion rights, and this Muslim was engaging in physical violence. There is NO comparison.
Hamid was reportedly not cooperating and was arrested by force and taken to John George Psychiatric Pavilion in San Leandro for an evaluation. Police said the case would be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review and possible charges.
Ah, the psychiatric evaluation. Quick, call in Dr. Phil, so that we can pawn it off as a mentally deranged guy and imbecillically claim that this isn’t Islam (when we know that it is).
Hamid was arraigned Tuesday morning at Alameda Superior Court in Pleasanton on charges of battery, grand theft, exhibition of a deadly weapon and a possible hate crime. Deputy District Attorney Ronda Theisen requested his bail remain at $27,000.
“Possible” hate crime? Helllllloooo . . . ?#2. The guy rips the person’s crucifix off and denounces Christianity while praising Islam, and there’s a possibility it isn’t a hate crime? PUH-LEEZE.
For the gazillionth time, America is under attack from Islam. The more we ignore these incidents, the Fort Hood incident and hundreds or thousands of others across America, the more we are burying ourselves in the sand.

It the dhimmi religion that offends them. We’re supposed to show them tolerance and respect but they don’t have to play by our rules. The problem is we allow the Hasans and Hamids of this world get away with it here. And yes – its Islam no matter how hard the government and the media tries to pretend it isn’t the contributing factor in attacks throughout this country.
